Standard-size rolls of dog waste bags do not dispense well from this bag. There is no spindle inside, so the roll turns diagonally inside the pouch, making it difficult for it to rotate.Also, the x-shaped mouth is too tight a squeeze for these flimsy bags: the dog waste bag that’s next in line for dispensation remains entirely inside the pouch. Even though I am a petite woman with small fingers, I could not reach inside the pouch to get a hold of the next bag and pull it out. I had to unzip the pouch every time.While the construction is sturdy (good stitching; well-chosen, durable fabrics; and plastic reinforcement behind the x), that’s part of the problem: the inflexibility of the plastic reinforcement at behind the x is what renders it so impossible to push past, both for the bag and for human fingers.Sadly, I Goodwilled this product and am now using a cheap plastic capsule dispenser that was sold along with the dog waste bags I purchased. I hadn’t wanted to do this as the last plastic capsule dispenser I had, the cap came unscrewed on a walk and was lost. (I roll and unroll leash around my hand repeatedly during walks to allow my dog more or less freedom, and that action probably contributed to the incident.) The capsule dispenser I currently use has a snug, push-on lid. We’ll see how well it stays in place.

I am so happy with this holder. I love the fact that I no longer have an item dangling in the leash or my side. It firmly attaches to the leash. The bags stay in place and I can even use it as a key holder because you know, women’s clothing can’t have pockets.

It stays put on the leash and is very durable. My only issue is that the bags get stuck in the spout most of the time. We have to unzip the pouch to get the bags untangled which can be an annoyance.

I recommend this thing! The material is durable. Our dog always puts the lead, or leash to the test. You can stuff a couple grocery bags in this poop bag holder. Even better if you can find those rolled up sets of dog poop bags. This dog poop bag holder also serves as a good reminder to make sure your locked and loaded w/ poop bags. I fastened a twist-tie (i.e. from a bag of bread) from this dog poop bag holder to the handle of the leash, because I could see it might slide down the leash after some rugged use, but I have not solely tested with just the dog poop bag holder's velcro loops.

There is no slit in which to thread the sacks thru so you need to open zipper and pull out bags. Then the roll falls out. Very disappointing until I took a razor blade and cut a slit to thread sacks thru now it’s perfect.

I love this dispensers, It is very low key and it stay on the leash no matter what! i had issues with previous dispensers they would break due to it being plastic and would not last a long time, but this one is still going due to the material it is made out of. No issues with the zipper or the opening for the bags, there are no tears or anything after a 2 month use.

It’s too large so the poop bag roll doesn’t spin in one place—often making it difficult to pull one bag from the roll. When your about halfway through the roll, it is small enough to twist and shift in the dispenser making it difficult to remove a bag.

Love this bag holder. It has two velcro fasteners and a clip, so it really stays on the leash. My dog is hard on her leash, sometimes runs around with the leash on and after a while the leash and holder it does wear, but it took a lot of hard work from my 65lb golden retriever. I would recommend and buy again.
