The IKEA blue dish drying mat is incredibly handy and a real game-changer. It's especially useful for drying glassware, thanks to its excellent absorbency. The mat holds water effectively and dries completely when hung up. However, it's worth noting that it's priced slightly higher on Amazon compared to IKEA's official website... Clearly, upto you to chose if you want to purchase the same from Amazon or IKEA.

Handy!
I got the mat today. Put to use right away. I recommend the idea of a mat to anyone having to consume salty water in their household. This saves the counter from having any salt trails that are harder to clean, if neglected. I also found this a great alternative over and even a supplement to steel mats that can used over sinks to drain water off washed utensils. I gotta see how this looks after a wash in the machine. There is no assembly necessary. And you can leave it for drying at the end of the day.
