Granted, it is a little bigger than I expected. Marking little 3" radius' s is a little awkward, but it works perfectly. As a Shipfitter I normally don't have to mark 24" radius in order to cut it out with a handheld torch, but I could, and that's why I love it. It'll hold Lumber Pencils, Regular #2 Pencils, Square Soapstone, Round Soapstone, pretty much anything you want.

Expensive for what it is
This is not the same at the origional photo.the tool is 8" long so can not easily fit in your pocket is kinda misleading .just seems to be made with basic aluminium with rough edges
