Arm saver on airplane
Three weeks before my first flight in 5 years, I was looking at a random internet list of things to buy for a trip, and I saw this product on the list. I remembered that Southwest Airlines no longer has seat-back video screens, and they expect the passengers to bring their own devices. I did not look forward to awkwardly holding my phone for 3 hours or getting neck cramps from looking down for that long, so I bought this phone holder. It worked amazingly! I was able to reconfigure it from clipping to the top of the closed tray table to clipping to the back of the opened tray table, without removing the phone or the earbuds and battery I had plugged into the phone. It saved my wrists, arms, and neck, and was the envy of all the other passengers around me who were struggling with their phones.I bought 4, so my kids can use them on the camp bus this summer, and for my husband to play with.He attached it to a toy car and clipped a tape measure to it, and used a physics toolbox kit to measure acceleration for a demonstration on conservation of momentum. It didn't work, but he said it wasn't the fault of the clip. The clip held the phone well. The experiment failed for other reasons.

Seems stiff that it will break when you expand it and pivot the head. It's gonna break very soon.
It could help steady a phone on a desk or plane lap table. I would give it a try if it held my phone better. With a case on the phone it is short to secure it and it will likely slip out the first time. I will return instead of try this because of how stiff and likely it's going to break when you expand it and move it around.

Great product
The media could not be loaded. Its perfect for traveling! Easy to use. My phone is a little heavy for it but if you open it all the way it will hold better at an angle. When I first opened it the loud click scared me I thought I was going to break it lol. Also when I bought it i thought that it would fit a tablet and my phone but it's only fit for a cell phone. For the price it's worth it I would definitely buy another one. It could be a really cool gift idea cause I'm sure everyone could use one. I ordered it last night and I came this afternoon!

Nice little phone holder.
Nice phone holder. Securely holds almost any size phone. My only complaint is (at least on Delta) it can be hard to get the tray latch closed when trying to use the mount with the tray in the stowed position.

Sturdy mount. Be aware of the focal distance.
I have used this on a number of flights with good results watching movies on an iPhone in a case. Be aware that most plane seats are pretty tight, and this mount holds the phone several inches closer to you than the seatback in front of you. The phone will be relatively close to your face. For older users, this will create a familiar problem of focusing your vision on the screen. Have a pair of reading glasses handy for best results.

Great for travel
This is great once you can figure out which way to turn/clip/fold it.

Very handy little gadget
It's proven to be a very handy little gadget for holding the cell phone. You can literally position it in any number of positions. I've used it to hold the phone to a wall sconce to video the kids Thanksgiving play at school, and I've used it to hold the phone during a Facetime conference call. Worked awesome both times.I suspect it won't last that long... lots of plastic, moving parts, etc., but you never know. I've had it for six months now, and if it breaks, I'd probably buy another one.
