I have a collection of flashlights that I purchased on Amazon which I use for different purposes. The primary reason I ordered this flashlight was to get the extra 18650 battery for my other flashlight that is similar to this one. That flashlight was also the first one I bought on Amazon.This flashlight has the same designation as my first one, XML-T6, but it's smaller in length by about 1/2 inch and about 1/8 inch smaller in diameter at the lens cone. However, that smaller flashlight is 20% brighter than the larger, first flashlight I got! It's also lighter in weight. The other nice feature of this flashlight is the charger which can be connected to a USB outlet on a computer or connected to the standard USB phone charger that plugs in the wall or connected to a USB car charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter (if your car does not have a USB port available). Most newer cars do have USB outlets. The older flashlight came with a flimsy charger that plugged into the wall, so you would need a power inverter if you wanted to charge it in your car. Here's another surprising feature of this flashlight: the charger that came with it is far more substantial in its construction and operation than the wall charger I described above. The USB power cord can be folded into a recess on the top of the charger to protect it.I also like the velvet carrying pouch that came with it. By contrast, my first flashlight came with a stiff, burlap carrying case that had elastic on the sides making it difficult to slide the flashlight in and out of it.In short, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it.

I purchased the flashlight, batteries and charger because the battery on my first “tactical” flashlight was trying to expire after a VERY long life.The new batteries arrived charged and worked right away as soon as I put them into the old and new flashlight.The former battery is in the charger.A friend was here when the package arrived, so I gave him the new flashlight, the flashlight case (very nice) and a clever little battery holder should one want to use three (either AAA or AA. - I didn’t look) conventional batteries instead of the rechargeable one.The light us we bright and the lens can be almost pinpoint or wide - the lens part on this flashlight moves font and back to adjust the focus of the lens.It’s a great light: we have a bear who roams our suburban neighborhood daytimes and at night and I use this flashlight to scan for our bear when I put the dogs out at night.I’m not military, so this little torch won’t be used to look for enemies, but it is great for bear-watching!😊

This flashlight is bright when brand new. However, I've noticed that w use, it loses some of its brightness. I definitely tend to use my flashlight a lot, and for long periods of time, and like bright lights better, so I have to have a light that stays bright and doesn't cause the battery to drain real fast. Unfortunately, this light does tend to drain the battery rather fast, but that's only if it is on the brightest setting. If I set out on the dimmest setting, the battery lasts much longer. I've noticed though, that the dimmest setting, which used to be quite bright enough for about anything, is not so adequate any more.Also, my flashlight was missing the o ring that goes where the lens retainer ring screws on. Thus, I've had a number of times when I've had to remove the lens and dry out accumulated condensation. So, althouh I'm sure the light is water resistant, it isnt quite water proof, so there's that.

The light arrived quickly and as described. It is essentially identical to the highly advertised "Atomic Beam" The light also did come with 2 rechargeable batteries and a charger. However the charger only can be used with a USB charger and the cord is extremely short. (about 6 inches) As you would need a USB extension to really use the charger, I used a different charger I already had on hand to charge the batteries off of a 110 volt plug outlet. The light also comes with an adapter to use disposable AAA batteries.

Broadly I prefer the slightly larger flashlights with two batteries but this compact size has a place.Best feature might be the extra battery to swap in. (Unrelated to this product, 18650 battery technology is in the 2500-3500 mAh range so be wary of impossible numbers if you pick up extra batteries.)

I've collected a number of flashlights over the years but when I got this one I realized I was missing out on the kind of illumination available. This one creates daylight when the sun goes down. Focused daylight, of course. You will not go wrong getting one of these and I plan on getting more.

Great light, tested it with one of my other lights which I love and gave for gifts years ago however wanted to try something else and see how it worked.This worked a bit brighter and seems solid. Only issue is missing the second battery on our order.

I already had one of these flashlights and wanted this one to keep beside the bad. I was very pleased to see that it came with an extra battery and a charger. These are plenty bright and small. Good purchase.
