Rightwell 2X 6X Magnifying Lamp with Clip 2 LED Lighted Hands Free Magnifying Glass

I bought this as a gift for a friend who enjoys making Gundam and Warhammer, painting them too. It has a very large clip which allows you to easily attach it to the edge of anything; table, desk, etc, etc - Because it's neck is so bendable, it can also pack down quite a lot. Mine was slightly bent (at the spring), but that's when it's stretched open quite wide (due to a thick desk), BUT, it is very sturdy and strong, keeping it right in place (the clip is also flattened, so it doesn't 'dig' into your table). The glass is fairly large, about the size of your palm and fingers sprawled out - with a 10x mini-glass window at the bottom - it also has a quite bright LED light, perfect for ensuring certain details on models.

Received product on day stated. Only used it a few times but is a very well thought out design which provides great flexibility in terms of positioning. Lighting is very good. Only one minor issue, one of the led lights has stopped functioning.

After purchasing this magnifier I was more than happy with my purchase, it is compact and sturdy and can be used as either a hand held magnifier or if you unfold it's body it can be used as a desk top magnifier which was the main reason I bought it. I have used it to paint miniature figures and found it to be very useful the magnification is excellent, another great feature I like is that it has two light settings built in, so you can increase the light to illuminate whatever your looking at. A+++++++

Lovely weight and magnification as promised. Unfortunately the switch that turns on the LEDs is a faulty as hell, the LED’s flicker and change in brightness if you just leave it stationary. Very poor. Totally disappointed with the switch functionality and I would return the item if I could be bothered. Buy it if you want a decent magnifying glass, and you don’t need lighting. Even with glasses I struggled to release the crown of a watch to get the mechanism out. The magnifier opened out as a bench tool meant I could use both hands. Lights worked well. Sturdy enough for light use. Good value for money.

This item is exactly what I needed for the work I'm doing, makes tiny things so much easier with the magnifier especially the mini magnifier. The only thing I would say is a negative, is when manoeuvring the mirror, the bolts tend to work lose but for the enhanced image it's a small sacrifice This did not last long and the magnifying lamp broke from the stem. the casing has split. I am heavy handed but if you purchase this I would suggest holding the base of the stem whilst moving the lamp into position.

This magnifying glass looks great and perfect for the purpose. The LED light makes it a stunning buy. The only downside with the package is that it does not come with batteries.

I bought this because I was trying to replace keys on a laptop keyboard and it was incredibly fiddly with really small parts. The combination of light and magnification on this lamp made everything clearly visible, and it holds steady while you're working. Also the clamp is a good size; I have it clipped to quite a thick desktop.
