Good not great
I did much research into Iphone lenses and there just doesn't seem to be a good product out there that suits all my needs. I concluded that this would be the best compromise. I was mainly interested in the wide angle lens, it has decent optics, the wide angle view is not as wide as I would like, but I can tell it does keep distortion to a minimum, some other lenses offer a wider view, but they would also have more peripheral distortion. Of course even better optics lenses are out there but they are just plain expensive and not worth what I will use it for. The one thing that made me return these lenses was the way it attaches to the phone. Although it is very convenient and easy to switch, you absolutely cannot have a case on your phone no matter how thin, you can have a thin screen protector but that's about it. I recently switched to a screen protector that is a thin layer of glass and of course that does not work well with the olloclip. If you don't mind taking off your phone case and you have a very thin or no screen protector this lens system works very conveniently and the optics are good enough.

Good product, but not so "quick" on the quick-connect
This is a relatively inexpensive add-on to bring optical variety to your iPhone photography. It offers some nice effects in its 4-in-1 features: a fish-eye, a wide-angle and two macro lenses. I think the quality of the lenses is excellent, given the purchase price of about $70. Its shortcoming is the difficulty attaching and removing the olloclip from the iPhone, in my case a 5s with a screen protector. It could be the screen protector is the culprit, but it seems like these are standard equipment given the price and inconvenience of a damaged screen. Still, I'm not sure "quick-connect" is all that quick. It's enough work that I'm pretty sure I can switch lenses on my DSLR faster and with less concern I'm going to break something. It may be I just need to get used to it, and certainly you want a snug fit, but there is an inconvenience level that is surprisingly high. I still recommend, particularly if you are serious about your iPhone photography and looking for new points of view.

Item is good for extending your lens capacity but please don't use ...
Really wanted this item, when I opened the already open box to discover there was no instructions in there, I proceeded to put the lens on anyway. really how hard could it be, after reading about the olloclip I saw that it stated there was rubber on the inside to protect the phone from scratches so I assumed the rubber piece that was in bag was for the phone. i put rubber piece on then tried to slid the lens on the totally cracked my I phone 5 screen. Apparently the rubber piece is for the I pod only. Had there been instructions I am quite certain my phone would not be broken right now. Item is good for extending your lens capacity but please don't use the rubber on an I Phone

Just average
First off let me say I'm not a photographer. I'm just an average woman who likes good pictures w/ cool effects. I was hoping this would deliver but I don't think it's that great. The wide angle lens leaves the edges of the picture you take rounded similar to a fish-eye effect: thumbs down for that. The macro lenses are super cool. Love the detail you can capture with it. Beware it will not fit over most cases/screen protectors. I have the Nitro glass cover and it did fit over that. It's a cool little gadget to own but not worth the $70 price point. I honestly think my iphone did better on it's own.

good for the capability but bad for long term investment
cannot use this on a iphone se with no case and only a glass screen protector, this cause my first screen to shatter in the upper corner due to the pressure, havent used this since and now that this phone is outdated while still being an icon i cant make use of this lense anymore.

You hate the annoying pain of removing your iphone cover before ...
If anyone thinking of getting this for their iphone, I suggest you reconsider it if:1. Your iphone is already having a screen protector. It doesn't matter how thick or thin it is, the Olloclip has no flexibility in adjusting to the thickness of your iphone with any form of screen protector. After a while of insertion, you will realise that your screen protector will start peeling from the areas to which Olloclip has to slide in.2. You hate the annoying pain of removing your iphone cover before taking shots with the Olloclip unless you bought their flipcase cover and use it. Any other covers will not work. Here's a suggestion to Olloclip... Build one that has the flexibility to adjust the size of the phone and not exactly. Olloclip should realise that no one will really have the iphone without the screen protector.

Quality and Fun
This is a fun phone accessory I bought to use with a 5S. I brought if for a trip and used it to take restaurant photos where I didn't want to attract a lot of attention with a pocked camera or DSLR. I took quite a few fisheye and meal photos and it works great, If you are looking for an iPhone lens accessory this is a nice option with 4 different choices, It slides on at the corner and just flip it to use the other side. There are 2 macro lens that are easily removed to reveal the wide angle on one side and the fisheye on the other. These are quality lenses and they take nice pictures.

Nice and sharp, easy to install
I bought this just for the lens kit. It does include a case frame with 1/4 inch tripod screw mounts on the bottom and side. My iPhone SE is long in the tooth and finding good add-on lenses is getting harder. I didn't want to glue a mount to the phone, or need to keep a case on just to mount an aux lens. This just slips on easily and stays nicely in place. The test shots I've taken are quite sharp. This is a reasonably good value for the money.

Great for your old iPhone 5/5S/5SE
Great for your old iPhone back-up. Need to remove case from your iPhone, but it works perfectly. If you have an iPhone 5/5S/5SE and need a little enhancement for a wider shot, then this will do the job well. Lightweight, so it is easy to carry around. Has its own soft bag.

Handy . Could have been better though
Handy little lens kit. Allows for great wide angle photos with minimal distortion. Very useful for travel pictures. Does not work with any kind of case on your phone though and the developers could have worked out an adjustable version with minimal changes to the design.

Cool, but have to get really close
Cool little gadget. I have a lot of fun using it, but don't be fooled- it doesn't replace the capabilities of a good DSLR. The macro lenses require that you get VERY close to your subject and have a really shallow depth of field. It's sometimes hard to hold the phone still enough to capture the image. I almost wish that the macro lenses were less powerful so that you could capture more of the subject. But overall, a great toy for a reasonable price. I don't regret it at all.
