Description This is an over the counter product - it does not require prescription.Liquid Wound Dressing Scarlet Oil is for use as a dressing for simple wounds, superficial lacerations, wire cuts, burns, surface wounds and abrasions on horses and mules. Directions: Clean the affected area, clipping hair if necessary. Direct spray at the site to be treated. Hold container 4 to 6 inches from animal. Can also apply freely with a dauber or gauze to the affected areas.  Apply freely as an open wound treatment or wrap with a clean bandage. Treatment may be applied once or twice daily. In case of deep or puncture wounds or serious burns or if redness, irritation, or swelling persists or increases, consult a veterinarian.  Keep away from the eyes or mucous membranes.  Avoid inhaling. For animal use only. Keep out of reach of children. Active Ingredients: Mineral oil, isopropyl alcohol, methyl salicylate, benzyl alcohol, pine oil, eucalyptus oil, parachlorometaxylenol, and biebrich scarlet red. Warning: Not for use on animals intended for food. Storage: Store at controlled room temperature between 15°- 30°C (59°- 86°F). Keep container tightly closed when not in use. WARNING! FLAMMABLE!
