This was a gift for my 4 year old son. The bag has plenty of room for all the included items plus plenty extra space to hold several treasures. To prevent the strings from digging in around his shoulders i put a carseat shoulder pad on it and it really is kind of perfect. He wears it positioned as an over the shoulder bag. It is pretty cheap plastic stuff but is perfect for little hiking adventures at this age.

Even though it's cheap he really likes some of the things. Doesn't last long

My 5yr old loves this set. We just gave it to him for his birthday last week and he is obsessed with catching bugs and lizards with it. My only critique is that the whistle/compass gadget has some functionality that I can’t figure out - it comes apart and has a mirror/magnifying thing that I’m not sure what to do with. Would love to have a one page description of what each item is for (within reason). Most of the items are pretty self explanatory, but that one item stumped me.

This is a very interesting tool kit, I bought this tool kit for my little son as his birthday gift, he was very happy, there are a variety of tools in it, his favorite is the telescope, very funny, it made him play with his little friends in the back garden every day, and I was happy.

My 4-year-old grandson is loving this gift and so are his parents and baby sister. With so few places to go while shut in due to the coronavirus, they're discovering a world of adventures right in their own neighborhood. He's captured (and released) a ton of frogs, bugs and butterflies and the whole famly is benefiting from the fresh air and exercise during his "expeditions." This is a wonderful gift for family fun. Especially now. Thanks a million!

For the most part it looks and works great. The thermometer on the whistle is in Celsius which is okay with me because I personally can't stand the u.s. system (I live in Michigan) most of the parts look durable minus the bug catcher and tweezers but only time will tell on that. My main issue was with the binoculars when I tried adjusting it the eye piece moves but the image remains exactly the same (I've Used binoculars many times so I was adjusting correctly) other than that I'd recommend the product. My son will be given this for his 5th birthday in august so I'm not too concerned about the binoculars but if he was older I'd definitely return them for a set that works properly. Delivery was much faster than expected (this is during the pandemic so I ordered early not expecting them for a couple months instead they were delivered within a week or two.)

Worth the price for the binoculars & flashlight alone, not to mention the other goodies in the bag!! Bought 2 sets for 7 yr old twin granddaughters & they had those binoculars around their necks for days!! So cute!! Such a fun set & a really good value!! Highly recommend!!
