Driving screws. While the combi drill can hold screw driving bits it is an interruption to workflow to swap from drill bits to driver. So having two helps there. Secondly, each is specialised to the job. The drill has a gearbox to allow for variability in what and how you are drilling, the driver does not (not needed) and has a rotary hammer action to apply high screw torque without needing high user pressure applied.

Does have hammer drill?

Yes it does but it’s not if you want to drill into soft cell on blocks or similar, get a stronger dealt drill ie the one with the metal chuck, 3 speed which is what I did then you gave the umph to drill any thing, I have both so one f on r fitting kitchen cupboard doors the other for fitting the units in ect

Dewalt quality

I love these! Bought to replace an old Bosch drill I had and I was undecided if it was worthwhile or not. Cannot believe I waited as long as I did whilst pondering on if to buy them or not. They're are a game changer, much more powerful than my previous one - last longer too!

Solid piece of kit

Dewalt is on the premium end and it doesn’t disappoint. Do make sure to buy driver pieces as they need to be sturdier than your normal screwdriver pieces you may have laying around.
