Fascinating Account of a Twisted Character
This is a very clear, engagingly written account of 20th century figure I did not know of previously. The author does an excellent job not only of bringing this strange, duplicitous fellow to life, but also of relating him to much of the century's most important political events, especially as these involve the Soviet Union and Communism. Highly recommend--a great read.

Wonderful Bio
Wonderful bio of a fascinating little known character. David Karr seems to have been a Zelig of mid-century America - Daily Worker writer in the 30s, government worker in the 40s, journalist, proxy fighter, executive, and deal maker -4 wives and oh yes, KGB, and maybe Mossad and CIA spy. Mr Klehr tells the story in a very readable narrative - needs a good copy editor to clean up some repetition and inconsistencies, so 4 out of 5 - but a strong 4.
