Goodness even the smell is wonderful. I made a soup with coconut milk and spices and it was outstanding. I also made lentil bread.

I like red lentils for making flat bread. It's so tender and easy to make, and it goes with most any meal. A good lunch is lentil flatbread with horseradish hummus and a piece of lettuce.

These are great. I love red lentils and these ones don’t have stones in them, so I instantly love when there are no stones in my lentils.

I knew that I wanted to try adding lentils to my diet for additional protein and fiber. Now, lentils themselves are not very tasty IMO, it's all how you prepare them. In my case I've been using red lentils in my home-made chili to supplement the beef I use, and I have found this to be a great way to use the lentils. More recently, I have been using lentils in making various soups for protein and body, sometimes pureeing the soup, sometimes leaving all the separate elements of the recipe alone. Gotta say, red lentils are going to be permanent part of my diet going forward. I will buy these again, not just for the excellent quality and cleanliness of the lentils, but also because the packaging is robust.
