These were fairly simple to install. They seem like they arent being held on with much. But they are very secure. The locking mechanism does not really work at all. You can just pull the plate off that "locks" and gives you access to the release mechanisms.

When I opened it I thought it would be really overwhelming to install but it was actually super easy and user friendly. It whistles a bit, and was difficult to center since it's adjustable, but otherwise overall great product, great value.

I purchased this on a budget and risked everything just to check how good it was... JACKPOT! I couldnt believe there is a product that is not costly but the qiuality construction is heavy duty! Im using this for my Overlanding rig to carry heavy equipment like jerry cans, spare tire, shovel, axe, tents & recovery equipment. A must buy for me.

Does not fit 2020 rav4. I have to wait to get return Auth from seller not automatic return. Does NOT fit rounded flush rails..Now I have to pay to return it. So if your rack does not fit you will have to pay to return it.

I like the bars themselves and they were not too difficult to install. Everything looked great until I had to readjust the bars to accommodate the cargo box. The piece that covers the bracket with the lock in it is cheap plastic and breaks easily. Also the plastic ends of the bar are also brittle plastic. See photos and be careful with these parts. Hopefully I can get some replacements.Update 8/21/2020. Just don’t buy these bars. The seller did replace one of two pieces that broke but wanted me to pay shipping from China to get it. I’ve lost another plastic part since.

This is a great unit, my only complaint is that it whistles a bit when going at high speeds.

It adds wind resistance and I can hear it when I have the windows open. But I this is with all roof racks. It’s easy to install. Just cut them longer than you think you need. Figure out exactly how it will install and then finish it up.

No noise issues at all. The only problem with this product is cheap plastic parts. It doesn't matter if you put everything in place it is super easy to pull out all the plastics with your bare hands. The solution is to glue all plastics with epoxy, otherwise, plastics will fall off over time.
