Bard Protective Barrier Film - Wipes - Box

I bought this product to help stick my CGM and insulin infusion set to my body as I have VERY sensitive skin when it comes to adhesive. This product works great! I make a 3-4 inch circle of the film on my body before attaching the equipment, let it dry a few moments, attach the CGM and insulin infusion set, and it stays until the next time I have to change them out. Even though I applied the Bard Protective Film beyond the area where the equipment would go it was not sticky on my skin and after the first shower the stick under the equipment held tight and the film where I'd over-wiped was clear of the film. This product holds beautifully and I don't have to worry that anything will come off from my skin until I need it to. It also protects my skin from the adhesive very, very well! I tried purchasing something else when this box ran out, Skin-TacTM Adhesive wipe, and it was far too sticky, left residue on my skin around the equipment and required some additional non-sticking solutions to get all of the wipe off which has not happened with the Bard! Even if Amazon PRIME does not cover the Bard Protective Barrier Film the next time I need more I will still buy the Bard! It is the best product I've tried yet!

I really like this stuff. It has been GREAT so far for my toddler son's sensitive skin. We us it to prep for his diabetic devies. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is that it doesn't seem to hold quite as long as the skin tac wipes did, BUT, now we don't have to deal with such severe skin rashes, which means faster healing and we can use that area again sooner. I will take that any day! :)

Not near as "sticky" as Skin-Tac thankfully! Works like a charm for my infusion set and CGM locations!!! If you have reactions to adhesives, you have to try this product. You'll be like me and wonder, "Where has this been all my life?"

These Bard protective skin wipes were recommended to me by a diabetes health care professional. I first tried them when I began using an insulin pump. The adhesive on the infusion set was leaving my skin red & sore. Applying a protective wipe first has completely eliminated this problem for me.

This product was recommended to me by my endocrinologist. The sites for my continuous glucose monitoring system had been seriously irritating my skin. This barrier film has helped give my skin additional protection when wearing my CGMS. I recommend those who have had site irritation with their CGMS or insulin pump sites to give this a try. It hasn't been a cure all, but I will take anything I can get!

I use this to protect my skin at the infusion site of my insulin pump. I discovered that I am allergic to the adhesive on my infusion set and this has worked perfectly! I don't like that the seller of this product contacted me via personal email to ask how it was working for me. I thought there was privacy settings put in place for situations like this.

Haven't had any problems with this product for usage over 4 years. Applies and comes off easily. And very little skin irritation.
