Anit-corrosion contact gel
I live close to the ocean where the atmosphere from the ocean will corrode virtually any copper, steel, or even aluminum item that is not protected with something. This product is used, with great success, on irrigation system wiring contacts and catv connections. It is not a stiff gel like you might find in silicon caulking, nor watery, but just right so it will protect the situation perfectly, protecting the copper from corrosion. One application when I put the cables together seems to do the job. Also, plan on this being enough for a lifetime of locations - it's plenty.

Good for wiring corrosion protection
Am updating the wiring on a large sailboat. While adding a positive and negative buss bar, I needed corrosion protection for the various connectors. This seems to fit the bill.

Easy anticorrosion solution
Used this for sealing some auto light sockets that are subject to corrosion - took care of the immediate problem but do now know how it will hold up longer term.
