7.0Ah Replacement for DeWalt 20V Max Battery Replacement for Dewalt 20 Volt Cordless Power Tools 2Pack

Needed these for my 18volt drill and impact driver as originalsl wont hold a charge. These appear well made and work as exspected. Hope they last foe at least a year.

They came charged but felt weak. Batteries were a very tight fit into a Dewalt charger. Had to pry them out. Even charged, they were weak. I took some calipers and a Dremel tool to try to fix them. It seems the problem is inside the battery tip where it meets the electrical contacts. Not much can be done, they are cheap Chinese items trying to avoid patents. I regret the purchase but it was shipped fast. I can't return because I tried to fix by grinding off the mistake. Lesson learned, don't buy this crap.

The batteries are less than 1/3 the price of original equipment Dewalt batteries. I have bought 2 last May and they work gust as well as the Dewalt battery. I bought Two more in December. The only problem I found is with the Two I bought in December. They were a little tight going into my charger. I felt that I had to force them in but once the were in the problem was solved. they now go into the charger and tools with no problems. I have a total of eight Dewalt tools that I use them in. Some are over 20 years old and still working fine. It is too early to tell the battery life of the batteries so I can't comment on that at this point in time. I use my tools regularly and the Dewalt batteries last for years. Hopefully the se batteries will stand the test of time as well.

I bought two of these batteries for my older DeWalt 12V tools.Pros: The batteries charge up and seem to work like my original DeWalt batteries. The cost for two of these batteries is still less than half of a DeWalt battery.Cons: The catch edge on the battery (see photo) sticks out a bit too far on both sides, making it a real PITA to get the darned things out of my tools or charger! After a half hour of cussing, I finally discovered that by pressing in at the top of the latch (see red arrow in photo) with a screwdriver I could loosen one side, and while holding that side open did the same thing on the other side. Both batteries had the same issue. So a few seconds of work with a flat jeweler's file fixed it. Use several light strokes, and then check the fit ... there's no going back if you remove too much. (Sandpaper might work too.)Overall, are good value only because the DeWalt batteries are being sold at highway robbery prices.

I bought 2 of these batteries. When I receive them they came with no instructions. So I assumed put the battery on the charger until fully charged and that's what I did. I put the first battery in my DeWalt skil saw and tried to cut a 2x6 and it cut into the 2x6 just about 1 inch and stopped. The battery was done. It had no power. So I thought maybe I'd done it wrong so the second battery I used which had no power also and then I put it on the charger till fully charged try the same thing over again cutting a 2 X 6 and it done the same thing. These batteries are by far the worst batteries I have ever purchased in my life.
