These were a lot of fun. The lights were bright and they lasted for quite a while.

These lighted birdies were a pleasant surprise.I've never used these before and was expecting something cheap and disappointing, where the lights wouldn't be effective and the weight and balance of the birdie would be off. I didn't think it would be possible to play in the dark even with the lights.But these are great quality, professional level birdies, and the lights work great for play in the dark or in dim light! I am used to inexpensive plastic birdies that we use until they fall apart, so these ones were the best I've played with lately. The only drawback is that the "real" feathered birdies like these aren't as durable as the plastic in my experience, so they may not last as long; but then, the battery won't last forever either so that doesn't bother me.The light shines brightly out the back of the birdie, so it glows softly as it flys towards you, and then you get a cool "flare" effect after you hit it, while it is flying away from you. Playing in the dark was difficult at first, but it can be done (although I wouldn't try keeping score!) It especially helps at dusk in low light conditions.Now Ohuhu just needs to add some cool sounds that go off when you hit it!

After seeing some good reviews on the night time badminton shuttlecocks, I decided to get a set for myself. I have to say that i was pretty impressed initially with the glow and the quality of the shuttlecocks. However, after some play they started to frustrate me as they kept turning off. Initially i thought it was one of them, but later turned out all of them. The problem is the lights are attached to the head and if you hit the head hard, the light will turn off. If only they fix this one issue, I'll surely buy this product again. But as of now I'm going to return it. In short great concept, but flawed in design.Pros - 1) Super concept2) The LED is glued in pretty good, so it will never come off.3) Simple operation, just press button and start playing.4) very bright. We played at dark and had no issues seeing the shuttlecock.Cons - 1) The light kept turning off intermittently.2) The presence of light depended on the force with which you hit the shuttlecock.3) If the light turns off and you can still spot the shuttlecock, hit it hard again and it will turn back on.4) The feathers came off after some play.

These thing are a blast on a Friday nite hanging with family and having some fun. They are bright, when serving I've noticed the yellow and green you al.ost have to look away but super cool.

Update: seller contacted me and is sending replacements! Great customer service highly recommend. It's great to know there are still companies that care about their customers and this is one of them!We started buying these last year and had loads of fun with them. They were very durable and lasted until the feathers broke off but this time I ordered a 4 pack and a 6 pack. Played with them 2 times have have already went through all of them. The light either comes out completely or they start cutting off after 3-4 hits. With this alabama heat and humidity night time is about the only time we can play outside and we love badminton so this really sucks. Bring back the ones from last year please!! BTW the flashy ones are a bit to flashy and if you are sensitive to flashy lights don't use the one in each pack that flashes.

These were super fun to play with at twilight and even pitch black outside. However, if you have adults or larger kids, the force from hitting the birdie will sometimes shut the light off and then eventually stopped working all together. The birdies themselves lasted longer than the led lighting. These were very fun and I think that I will get more light up birdies, but will try a different brand to see if they will handle the impact better and stay on longer.

Works great for night play!

Since my hubby works 4pm-2:30am usually 6 days/wk our play time is very limited. So there's been many a night since receiving these that we've been able to play badminton after he gets home. They are super bright & very easy to see. I will say, there's one that flashes while the rest do not. We can't play (at night) w/the one that flashes because you can't keep track of it causing you to misjudge your timing/swat. We did have one that eventually started flashing like we knocked a wire loose or something but that was after A LOT of play time. I'll definitely order again once these wear out.

They look nice when you're watching someone play but if its you playing then you still can't see it as the lights are on the inside. No good if the shuttlecock is coming towards you.

We played at night and put glow sticks through the edges of our rackets. Amazing night game. Lots of fun. Great product. No idea if or how I can change the batteries, though.

Muy divertidas para jugar con poca luz al final del dia y por la noche.La única pega es que una de las 4 plumas luce con varios colores e intermitentes y no la usamos porque te vuelves loco. Pero con las otra 3 que son de colores fijos son una maravilla.
