Great little unit for the price. The exact materials you would expect...chipboard type of fake wood with some paneling laminated to the front panels. All materials are organized and laid out well. The directions are fairly clear but BE AWARE of exactly which panel is going up or down. I had to disassemble it because there is a 'lip' on the front bottom and top that are supposed to both point inward (top lip points down, bottom lip points up).The doors also did not fit correctly on mine when using the pilot holes for the screws. I had to take them back off and make my own holes for the doors to be flush and straight.Aside from that, it looks great...a little smaller than you might expect due to photos but just check the measurements so you know exactly if it will fit in the space you're using.IKEA used to do scandinavian/mid-century modern on a budget but all of their furniture looks like classic contemporary midwestern garbage so as far as that goes, The design (and even the fabrication) are both way better than what you'll find at Ikea and much more modestly priced.Design wise/aesthetically, this unit beats anything Ikea has offered in their catalogs for the past 5 years.Update: after having this in my room for 3 days, it is still smelling up the room horribly. If you’re sensitive to off-gassing, this is one of the worst I’ve dealt with. I have a home full of furniture from amazon and ikea from points unknown through the world so those smells aren’t new to me at all mad I’m typically not sensitive to them. This (especially for its size) has one of the strongest, toxic smells I’ve encountered. Leave it out in a garage for a week if you have that option or drag it outside because it will cause some issues if it is stored in a small room without ventilation.It’s a shame that furniture can’t be made without these toxic fumes. I’m middle aged, have lived in over 12 locations over the years, bought a lot of furniture but the past 5 or so the smells have become almost unbearable without allowing them to sit outside for a few days. I know formaldehyde is commonly used to cure and retard flames but WOW, being in the same room with this the second day made my eyes watcher and had me wheezing. So just.p a head’s up.It really is a nice piece design wise and assembly...I wouldn’t try to talk anyone out of it but at some point you have to take your health and home air quality into consideration.

The unit came packaged well and none of the contents were damaged during shipping despite the slight damage to the container itself. There was a strange chemical odor emanating from the packaging but seemed to dissipate after a while (overnight).The instruction manual could use a proof-reader, as the image for constructing the center pieces (D, C and C1) ended up backwards during the step for installing those pieces on the following page. (the lock-nuts appear to be on the opposite side of where they SHOULD be?). This required me to disassemble those pieces in order to put them together properly. Also, the rear of the booklet refers to a completely different unit than the one built.The booklet lists a drill in the "tools required" page, although I did not need to drill anything and the instructions caution against using a power tool for assembly.Each of these findings are insignificant to the actual construction of the unit. (sans the extra time taken for assembly) but correcting these could help to better the overall experience.I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others in need of such an item.

I love this console as it is a really nice looking piece of furniture, pretty sturdy and fits my 50’ inch TV. The shipment arrived ahead of time and assembly took an hour. 5 stars for the company and product.

We absolutely loved the simplicity of this TV stand, and how easy it was to assemble. The final look was exactly as depicted, and it appears pretty sturdy. Two improvements - the main wood parts are made from particle board, and the plastic banding that holds the box together made some slight damage to the top and bottom board parts. Not so much as to be noticeable from the front, but wish the particle board was sturdier in shipping if you have these bands.

The entertainment center is very sturdy and looks great! Instructions were easy to follow and assembly was fairly easy. My only complaint was there was only one hole on the back on one of the shelves for wires to feed through, and if you have any device on the other shelf that needs wire fed through you will need to drill another hole. Other than that, A+ product and will definitely look at other items to purchase for our living room.

I was so excited to get this, until we assembled it, and realized just how small the doors were, there is a gap between the cabinet doors and the bottom of the door frame. the legs are a completely different color than the rest of the table. which isn't in the description. I would rather not go through the hastle of having it returned or exchanged.

Easy to assemble, although some of the holes aren’t drilled where the should be so I ended up having to make my own. I changed out the knobs with some that I had from a different project to give it a little extra flair. Overall a great purchase!
