How many sections do the poles come in and size of carry case? Trying to figure out how portable it is. Thank you.

There are four poles and each is in three sections with a very sturdy connector to join them. I haven't tried to pack the teepee away in the carrying case because I use it when my grandchildren visit my house. But I will say that when I look at it I imagine it will be a tight fit. Having said that the teepee is very study, collapses easily to stand behind the bedroom door and my grandchildren LOVE it.

Does the teepee have zipper closure for front?

There is no zipper nor any tie string closure for the entrance. You could easily attach some strings and maybe sew in your own zipper

Can a child sleep in this at night?

Yes, absolutely. They are very comfy and cozy.

Hi: Can I put it in he washing machine?

Yes I washed mine on a delicate cycle and on the lowest setting to partially dry and let it air dry the rest if the way.
