Ollny 5m 50 LED Fairy Lights Battery Operated,Copper Wire String Lights

I decided to purchase some battery powered lights to use on the exterior of my house for the festive season. We have a real lack of access to outdoor mains electric, so this was the best option for us. I’m really pleased with the results, which have also cost very little to achieve. I’ve always postponed buying Christmas lights for outside as I thought it was going to be a big hassle and really expensive, but I have been pleasantly surprised to find this has not been the case. They are not as bright as mains powered Christmas lights, but using two strings on top of each other, it creates a really nice warm and tasteful glow. The colour of the lights is great too; not too icey, not too orange. The are delicate and tangle easily, but as long as you’re not throwing them around, you shouldn’t have any problems, as we haven’t. Opting for battery powered lights also means there’s obviously no timer function, and you have to step outside to turn them on and off - though the wires are very thin, they would slot through doors or windows, even when fully closed/locked, as we did initially (we just didn’t like the light placement this created). There are no flashing settings with these lights; they’re simply on or off, but this is all that I wanted.

Amazingly long , and amazingly bright. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Just be careful not to tangle them up as you unroll the wire! I've only just got them so can comment on longevity. Takes 3 AA batteries, not supplied.

I didn't expect these lights to be particularly big or bright knew they would just be a fine small light. Opened the minute box and the wire was thinner than a hair on a flys leg. Total nightmare getting them unravelled some extremely thin wire at either end of the roll they came in. The lights ended up like a hair ball you'd pull out of your hairbrush. I got really fed up at that point and just threw them in the bin. I've bought better quality out of poundland for a 5th of the price.
