Barbatos Gundam 1/100 scale
This is an intermediate kit with piece that fit without any glue. Exquisite details from articulating pieces. NOTE: the hands/fingers are not as articulated as other models. Assembling this model was easy but to actually make the kit stand out, be prepared to spend the time to panel line, put on stickers, and paint. This kit is fun for kids that are into model building and okder

FANTASTIC!!
The Gundam Barbatos was a great build. I purchased this with a kit of tools to build it. the build process to about three days but thats because i made sure to space it out over a few days otherwise id have built it in a night and over indulged myself. clipping all the parts out and prepping them was fun and easy the instructions being very helpful though i will say that the arm joints are little delicate. be sure to purchase a small gundam tool kit to build it. the range of motions are great and posability is amazing. as this was my first gundam build in about 15 years it was a great experience. down side is that the armor on the back of the hands are easy to lose and pop off easy. that could be due to a mess up on my end i admit but it something to keep an eye out for. and the head crest definitely needs a small dab of super glue to keep it in place otherwise its a perfect model 9.5 outta 10 in my book.

Best gunpla model
I've built 3 Gundams, and this is by far the most fun of them all. The pieces are sanely sized, the articulations and secondary movements are well designed. This is mostly due to how the Gundam was designed in the show, with exposed hydraulic pistons and a skeletal waist. The designers also avoided ball joints almost everywhere, instead opting to stack more reliable pin joints. This is especially noticeable in the wrists, and it makes them way more solid than other models. On top of all that, you get to build this Gundam twice: once for the internal skeleton, and a second time with the armor. I almost want to buy a second one of these and keep it in just the skeletal form, where you can see all the intricacies of the inner design. It's not perfect: the backpack is kind of a mess, and is very hard to articulate without it falling apart. The design of the cannon is accurate to the show but very dumb for posing, there's no real good way for the model to hold it.

Incredible Master Grade
This is simply one of the very best Master Grade Gunpla available. It is a solid build and the articulation is superior to most MGs. The build time is average but fun and involved and if you like working pistons on a mech then this is that mech! There are three main weapons (mace, long sword, cannon) mace and cannon also have smaller weapons gimmick for more display capability. The Barbatos does not have all the drama of other Gundam frames that sport huge wings or dragoons but it's simplicity is it's beauty. You can also add some stickers or panel line for more depth but the frame itself is already beautiful even without it. if there is one weakness the hands are a bit tricky to hold the mace due to its design but if you align it correctly it will hold the weapons well and strong. The articulation will allow for very dramatic poses like that of the anime. Highly recommended! Price was fair for this level of results.

Top Tier Master Grade
If you've been wanting a 1/100 scale Barbatos, the MG is is the way to go. The kit is solid as a rock and comes with a load of accessories. The kit will do any pose you want out of it.Part separation is magnificent. No stickers or decals have not applied to this kit, not even for the eyes. Although I didn't apply decals (because will be painting eventually), the kit comes with a huge decal sheet for those who prefer not to paint their kits. All the accessories can be mounted onto the Barbatos' backpack when not in use. Kit does not come with a stand. The HG Barbatos Lupus Rex and a Haro are near the kit for reference but it should be roughly the size of a 16oz can or bottle.I would say this is a kit for intermediate builders as there are many small and moving parts. All the silver piston parts move in and out. Getting these parts in can be a struggle if you try to rush the build. For any beginners, if you want a taste of MG builds, try out the MG Deathscythe as it's a fairly easy MG to build. Although it's a smaller scale (1/144), I reccomend the Real Grade (RG) kits after 2016 as the newer RG kits are like Mini Master Grade kits with an inner frame in terms of difficulty. But hey, if you're determined, go for it but take your time and good luck!I will say that the runners for the inner frame just say GUNDAM FRAME so it is possible the other Iron Blooded Orphans Mobile Suits will get a MG kit based on this frame. Please Bandai, release more MG IBO kits!Hope this helped, y'all.

Just buy it, you really won't regret it.
The kit really doesn't leave anything to be desired in my opinion, it's a solid kit that does everything it needs to do. It's relatively easy construction with a highly detailed inner frame to assemble and highly articulated so there's nearly no pose that this kit can't pull off. There are only 3 color foil stickers for color correcting however two are not needed as they are for the eyes and the third for the gun camera. Optional stickers are included for more detail if wanted. The plastic is great to work with including for painting and customizing. However, the biggest thing is the fact that it can actually hold up its own weapons unlike most of the other 1/100 kits of this mobile suit which cannot. Even better it can hold up the 1/100 Lupus Rex's mace with no problem something that the rex fails completely at.The only gripe I have with this kit is the lack of detail on the white armor and the bulkiness of the shoulder armor, however, that's due to my personal taste and can be fixed by scribing and customizing the armor. All in all, I love this thing and I don't regret buying it at all.
