Beautiful product and so easy to use. It will create an opulent finish to your art or project. This product was far cheaper from this supplier compared to others I found and is identical.

I first came across Treasure Wax in the late 1970's, in my mother's artist materials shop and gallery. Used to re-touch or re-colour gilding on picture frames, it wasn't until she closed the shop and gave me a selection of unsold stock that I really found out what lovely stuff it is. Very simple to apply, with a fingertip or soft brush, it can be rubbed onto almost any surface and given a buffing to make it glow. I've used it to colour canvas, painted surfaces, wood, terracotta and paper. The wax medium permits application to a non-porous surface without any leakage or bleeding-over. Masking an area permits very precise application, for straight lines or edges... My last pot lasted over ten years. Really. Poverty and starvation led to a lack of Treasure wax in my life... Until now. I have bought Classic and White Fire, mainly for now to use decorating Christmas cards. I trust these two pots will add gorgeousness to my craft ideas for quite a while yet and thoroughly recommend the stuff for all and any activities that need a bit of a Midas touch...!

This is a great guilding wax - it works on pretty well anything including card, paper and chipboard. Does exactly what it says on the jar - well worth the cost as a very very little goes a long long way, especially in the papercraft world.
