XIDU Review
Having used this laptop now for 10 days, I am really pleased with it. It arrived promptly the next day as promised and to set it up was very easy and straight forward. It boots up reasonably fast and does everything I need. Small and compact, easy to work on at home and also on the train. Good value for money.

Started Good. Ended in a return.
Started off great. But 3 months in. And it's going back. It's absolutely crazy. The screen touch won't work. The mouse flies around the screen on its own. Closes tabs down. It's as if it had a mind of its own...

Very handy as home pc substitute
Great value for money but also a great product. Does everything I need. A little more memory would be good for photos but tablet/ touchscreen/ keyboard design make it neat and portable.

A good, cheap, (almost) Surface Pro alternative
For what it costs, it can't be faulted. It's very obviously a Surface Pro copy, even down to the shape of the metal body, and if you want a highly portable, basic 2 in 1 PC it's great. Performs well as a tablet too with a reliable touchscreen. Screen brightness not the best and the auto brightness adjust is a little slow/unpredictable, but not a deal breaker. The stylus supplied feels a little cheap, but then I guess it is (when you consider that a surface pen costs £99...). Comes with Windows 10 S edition to clarify. Don't go expecting Surface Pro performance and you won't be disappointed at all. Had it 6 weeks and does everything I need it to well - emails, browsing, MS Office, note taking, occasional streaming. Recommended.

Very nice and well made product
The XIDU PhilPad 2-in-1 Touchscreen Laptop, 13.3-inch FHD Tablet is a really nice, well made product and did everything i asked of it. The only issue I have is, its quite heavy and not quite as portable as i had hoped.

READ MY REVIEW FOR THE FACTS.
First of all let me say that this is NOT a laptop . It's a tablet with some laptop features . It comes with windows s , the most basic and limited windows and if you want windows home like they advertise then it will take 3 - 4 hours or more with fast internet to download (80mbps).Secondly I dont think the RAM is 6GB . Its struggles to keep up with pretty basic apps and games . It seems to load most things quite slowly . For example I had an actual laptop 8 - 9 years ago with 4GB of RAM that worked faster than this device , which must mean whoever's developed this device cheaped out on other things in it .Thirdly let me get onto the magnetic detachable keyboard . The trackpad (mouse) was faulty completely when I recieved it . I tried to contact the seller but I got an email from amazon saying their email is not active at this time . So eventually they got back in touch with me and apologised but asked me to send a video of me using the keyboard and pictures! To top it all of they said if this is checked and I'm telling the truth they will send me a new keyboard from China in just less than a month! One of the main reasons I bought this device was because there were several reviews saying the customer service was excellent. It's not, the customer service is TERRIBLE! Basically ASUS probably have better customer service and that's saying something. Finally the touchscreen is pretty bad . For a 400 pound device the touch screen is shockingly bad . I've had 80 pound tablets with similar touch screen ability . I'm dreading using the stylus , which does not come with a battery , because it seems a cheap knock off and the touch screen will probably not respond very well to it. There are a couple of good things that boost it to 2 stars though . The picture on the screen is good . It's clear and is definitely full hd. With the type of new USB charger it charges quick too and it is useful because the stand works well . I'm struggling to think of any more though to add that's good . If you want something basic that is portable and you cant afford the more pricey 2 in 1 laptops then this might be for you . I was tricked by the reviews, the reviews on it are mostly wrong because the product comes with a note saying please leave us a 5 star review and we will provide you with a free mouse. I could not bring myself to lie just for a cheap mouse but I guess anyone will do anything for something for basically nothing .

Surprising Quality for the money
Like large C Drive - Wide screen suits me, though possibly not everyone - see more of long documents in portrait mode. Keyboard feels good - surprising amount of travel in the keys for such a slim profile. The track-pad works for me. Have not quite come to terms with the touch screen though I'm sure its just a matter of getting used to it. Glad I bought it over cheaper competition - and it leaves you wondering whether you really need what the premium end of the market offers for an awful lot more money. This will do for me.

Best support I have ever had!!!
This supplier has to be the most supportive on the market! The product arrived with a problem with the keyboard. I contacted the supplier, and the follow-up that ensued is the most exemplary of what the rest of the industry can learn from! They offered to replace the unit by a direct swap, but then came back and found a way to supply the defective product's replacement by getting the manufacturer to ship me a replacement keyboard.Unfortunately I won't have the opportunity to order more of their products, as I am not a corporation, but if I could I would!Best supplier I have ever dealt with! The product itself is a very well designed tablet, with a magnetically connected keyboard. The keyboard was defective, but the overall design of the product is of the highest level: great HD+ screen, Windows 10, with a variety of applications that make the unit immediately useful.Added feature is the touch screen, with a supplied pen, that allows you to create art and graphics directly, and with sensitivity. It is a pad, and a computer, seamlessly integrated. BRAVO!
