Bought to replace a similar baffle that we've had for a number of years, but that did not survive the recent storms.Easy to fit on our bird feeding station and does exactly what it says and baffles those pesky squirrels!

If you use it to hang a feeder from it does mean it will be a lot nearer the ground, so you need a tall support to hang it from.

This not only protects from squirrels but also the great British soggy weather. I’m very happy with the purchase. I’ve put quite a heavy large bird feeder underneath and it’s holding very well.

There are many products that claim to ensure your bird feeder is rendered squirrel proof but honestly this is the only one I've found actually does it perfectly for not much money and complete simplicity.All you do is locate this on your bird feeding stand at a height above the ground or launching platform where squirrels can get above it and hey presto! No thieving rodents at your bird food. Not once has any squirrel in my large garden managed to get past this and given how many I have to deal with, that's a good testament to it's effectiveness.Of course being located below bird food does mean it gets a bit guano covered fairly quickly, but a quick wash over with soapy water keeps it reasonably clean.Overall, nothing better and nothing simpler.

It works. Squirrels don’t stand a chance. Small birds have good access to feed. Large birds such as pigeons can’t get a grip.

This is a good deterrent to prevent squirrels eating the bird food and wrecking the feeders.An insert in the color allows the dome to fit both small and large bird feeder support poles.

I have had problems with squirrels pinching all the bird food. Feeder hangs from a tree branch and squirrels would hang upside down from the branch and help themselves. Tried hanging the feeder from a higher branch on a long chain, but soo the squirrels learnt to climb down to the feeder. I added a large tin part way down the chain (flat top) but squirrels managed to get past this too.The new domed baffle has thwarted the squirrels so far. The chain passes through the baffle centre, and being smooth and large, squirrels have been unable to get a grip to get past. The baffle also provides the feeder with some protection from the rain. Yet to see how the baffle performs in high winds. Money well spent.

The dome was well packaged, easy to assemble, and attractive but utterly useless as a squirrel deterrent. A squirrel can easily balance on the dome with its hind claws and reach down to get the birdfood. Waste of money!
