Good value and long lasting
Bulldog original steel razor blades:I have been using these for a couple of years now after ditching Gillette for preaching and Wilkinson sword for blades that blunt after just a few shaves. I have tried a few other brands but settled on bulldog as my favourite.They are a good price, stay sharp for weeks if rinsed, dried and wiped across the blades after each use( other big brands blades with wires across the blades make cleaning impossible no doubt to help you burn through their blades) and give a very good shave when used with a good shave product. I use king of shaves 2 in 1 shave cream & conditioner after trying many different ones.The lubricant strip at the top of the blade doesn’t last past 2 or 3 shaves but that’s normal for all blades. I also find that the single trimming blade is not the best resulting in nicks so I avoid.I found when changing to this blade it took me a few weeks of use to get used to it but once I did the cost savings were well worth the switch.In summary, good price, long lasting when cleaned after every use, a good shave when using the right shave cream and the bamboo handle is also pleasant to use.Oh, and a cardboard box that can be opened easily and is recyclable unlike almost impossible to open plastic packaging from others.
