Avatar & Legend of Korra Complete Series Collection

I love the Avatar trilogy. I could write a whole article about how much I love these two shows, but I'll spare you. Both have amazing animation, action, world-building, and emotional moments. The Legend of Korra definitely has some weaker moments than Avatar: The Last Airbender, but even at its worst, it's still one of the best shows, in my opinion.

Seriously, some of the best series of all time, period. Whether you enjoyed animated shows or not, these shows have something for everyone! Both have incredible stories centered around saving the world and dealing with the weight of that responsibility, teaches lessons that transcend the world they are presented in, have seriously laugh at loud moments, feature incredibly realized and diverse characters and world, and have amazing action sequences. Great value for money on these! As to the product itself, the first copy I got did arrive broken (the hinges inside were snapped). So I had to simply return them to the nearest drop off location and order a replacement. Second one arrived without issues.

Arrived in clean and intact shrink wrap. Outer box was a thinner cardboard than I've had in boxsets before, more like the material you might find as a slipcover, but it's decent enough for its purpose. Somehow one of the bluray plastic cases had some damage on the plastic cover art sleeve, not sure how that happened since the rest of everything was fine. But there weren't any cracks in the cases or anything, which is good. Discs were all in good condition with no scratches- a single disc had a fingerprint or two on it, but that wiped off easily with a soft cloth. None missing or duplicated, though I haven't checked the playback of each individual disc yet. One issue is that the disc holders in the Legend of Korra plasic case were sometimes very loose- be very careful when opening the box the first time because the discs could fall out. Even putting them back in, I'm not entirely confident they'll stay in place. But they did go back in and stayed at least a little secured. Still, everything was otherwise undamaged and such, so it's a decent collection for your shelf, especially if you get it on sale.

Me llego en buen estado, como sabrán la serie se grabo en 480p así que el escalado a 1080p es mas de colores y suavizado, pero aun así funciona, los primeros episodios se ven un 6 /10 , pero van mejorando con forme avanza la serie , el audio es claro en español , aunque en inglés suena mejor. korra nunca la eh visto así que no tengo nada que decir.

i have been reading some of the lower reviews. ( so far i am in disc 5 with no issues, i will edit this review is any of these things change) to address those.. there are generally 8 episodes per disc except for at the end of each season there are indeed subtitles i have yet to come across any scratched dics or discs that don't read. and all episodes so far have been there the original "last air-bender" is not widescreen and has the black bars on the side. the package arrived in good condition, altyhough it was stuff into my mailbox instead of put on the porch... nor was my doorbell rang. but thats more the person who dropped its off fault more than anything else still everything came in good condition. everything i got functions perfectly (electrically) and is as described, i would ideally like to take a star off for less than ideal packaging for a kinds show if the case and discs are going to be handled by kids. ( its really a lot more flimsily and fragile than it should be) but if u take good care of it u wont have any issues. so far only "disc 1" of water seems to have any issues staying in place when i flip over but if u take the disc behind it out and push the disc center thing in from the other side u can get the disc to stay in if your gentle when u turn the "pages" of the disc holder. it also came with a little comic and each disc has a small special features extra. i wasn't expecting. overall a great product for the price. ideally i would have preferred a more rigid and sturdy case for a "kids" show. but other than that the product itself seem to work perfectly i will say that box that they come in don't hold the discs particularly well. you can get them to stay in but u need to be very gentle. ironically this is a kids show and i wouldn't trust kids to put away these dics away properly without scratching them or making them come loose, it could be designed better.. But if you take care if it. it does hold the discs in place ( if only barely)

Great shows. There was some damage with the DVD cases. I had about 3 different broken areas/cases of varying levels of brokenness. The dvds themselves all worked and the cases did close for the most part even if it was annoying and slightly difficult but decided it wasn't worth the hassle to try and return for an undamaged product. When the cases break enough, I'll just replace them or throw them out and put the dvds in a zipper case. Beware of buying this if you care about what the packaging looks like. If you're like me and don't really care about anything other than the dvds, then this might be worth it to you.

If collecting physical media is important to you, buy the shows you’re going to watch again and again. This show holds up. Korra less so, but it’s still nice to have. This box set actually displays nicely, and keeps all included discs relatively safe.

O box em si é bem simples, mas o conteúdo compensa bastante já que além das dias séries vem muito material de extra em cada disco. Na qualidade da apresentação de áudio e imagem, em Korra está perfeito já que a série foi feita com maior orçamento e para o formato HD. Já a série original "The Last Airbender" está o melhor que pode ficar em alta definição pra uma série que foi masterizada em SD, nunca ficará perfeito mas está melhor que o DVD e o áudio está excelente. Se você é fã essa edição é perfeita, é o pacote completo apesar da apresentação do produto ser simples, e as duas séries em si são fenomenais e merecem ser vistas e estarem na coleção de todo mundo.

Los primeros capitulos estan remasterizados para que se vean mejor, en si todo el material es de buena calidad

These are great series if you haven’t seen them highly recommend you go and watch them! I saw them for the first time in my late 20s and they’re fantastic. I like to buy DVDs and Blu-ray so that I can watch shows that I likewhether or not it’s on a streaming service.

Avatar is great and we know it, so I will talk about packaging. [the rating is the packing not avatar] [avatar gets 5 stars and korra gets 3] box art looks really nice, but box isn't tight enough so the dvds keeps slipping too easily. some discs needed to be cleaned since some episodes only worked after several plays. but the PRICE, MAN THIS IS A GOOD PRICE! no wonder why this keeps getting out of stock so often. in the age of binge watching, now is the time to watch avatar. I like the original and Korra was just a bonus to me.
