My wife has tried this out and is actually taking a flight to California tomorrow. I too have tried it out and it seems like it will definitely be a worthwhile item to have along on a flight. Those of us who have flown know that getting comfortable on a flight is almost impossible at times whether it be leg space or reclining. This item works very well with supporting you while you lean forward and rest. The design also allows for your arms to be placed inside so that they aren't left dangling around and it deflates to go into a small bag for easy storage. Be smart, be comfortable.

I like how easy it is to use! It is easy to inflate and deflate. The price is great and so worth it to have this comfort. It is great to pack and it doesn't take up any room. Great Product

Doesn't always work as well as I would like it, given the changing configurations of planes, but when it works, it works well.

I have bought several kinds of neck pillows for travel but this one is the best for how I need to use it. I work the graveyard shift at an ER. Some nights can be busy, but others, I can work an entire 8 hour shift without even registering a single patient. It is always a battle to try to keep awake on those nights. I never fully sleep, but I do close my eyes and doze a bit. When I hear the front doors open I immediately "wake" and put the pillow aside. This pillow is easy to inflate and I had no problem with it deflating while I was using it. I place it right on the desk in front of me, adjust my chair height and it is perfect to just lie forward and rest your head and eyes.

Used this product for a long overseas flight. Took some time getting comfortable with it. It was better than nothing. Looks kind of silly too. Not sure if I will take it on my next trip.

As we all know getting any rest on a plane is next to impossible if you are in economy. You may get a few funny looks when inflating it. The hole you blow into is about 1.5 inches wide. I have an overnight 12 hr flight and a window seat. This sits perfectly against the wall of the plane for me to rest my head on. It comes with an eye mask and ear plugs(which makes for better rest when traveling). I'd recommend this to anyone.

Knowing that I'd be needing one myself, I bought two. Two seemingly different brands of these travel pillows, yet of very similar design. While the design of this particular travel pillow was good; easy and quick inflation and deflation, I found a flaw that it is a dealmaker - poor materials. On my 12 hour flight to Japan, it was fine. Blew up fast and did what it was suppose to do. Before we landed, we both deflated the pillows and put them away. On the way back, I found that this Smartder pillow, had cut a hole into itself, possibly with its own valve, when I last put it away. This should not be a problem for an item that you are to inflate, deflate, put away, and repeat. Again and again. Someone is either cutting corners or someone is using too cheap of a material for this item. Or both. On the design of the valve, I'd give it a 9, as the hole was large, larger of the two pillows I bought, easy to inflate with a few large breaths. On the material, I have to give it a 2. This is not a disposable item. It was not priced as a disposable item. It should not cut itself up after one use. At the very least, warn users of flimsy materials and improper storage may inflict terminal damage onto itself! As it turned out, while the idea of such a pillow looks good, it still isn't as supportive, or comfortable, as the pictures made them out to be. Both pillows that I bought of similar shape, performed similarly - mediocre at best. And I am once again on my hunt for the next best thing to my pillow and bed, for my next trans-Pacific flight.

It was easy to blow up, taking no more than 4 or 5 deep breaths to fully inflate. It worked great. I travel across country by air about every 6 weeks. It is always difficult to get comfortable enough to nap on any plane but this pillow made it much easier. My only complaint, and it is just a minor complaint, is the headrest could use a little padding where the head meets the pillow. Overall it is a great idea and I will be using mine every time I fly.
