I use it in place of packaged soup broths which cost $3.00 plus (usually plus) for one quart/4 cups. Just one tsp. per cup of water. It has a lot of healthy ingredients and it is always on the shelf, ready to go when I need it. It saves a lot of money! Review: Not gluten or wheat free - I was disappointed to find the recipe had changed from previous boxes I had purchased. Previously, there were no wheat gluten products listed and I thought this product was safe for my gluten free family. The new packaging reveals wheat in the recipe. Boo! I was disappointed again that desertcart won't allow a return. Boo! Boo! After contacting the distributor - they would not allow a return of the product or my money. Boo! Boo! Boo! I will donate it to the food bank. Also I found out from the distributor that the old, much loved recipe had wheat in it as well. It was just not listed on the label. Disappointed again. Boo! Boo! Boo! Boo!
