Good, bad and the ugly, turned beautiful
A stripper, and Angel, and the devil, sounds like a bad joke right? I read this thinking, hum, not my usual read and was very pleasantly surprised. It's well written and the story line is great. A poor young lady finds herself taking care of her mother and sister alone with no support. Then comes the angel, who attempts to get her to quit, the devil enters, wanting her. Wanting her bad. Nice at first, although she felt the unease of him, but then turns into the person he is, the devil. The angel who has been assigned to her becomes enchanted with his guard. His boss, the Lord, talks to him and finally let's him go to be human. He becomes overwhelmed, as he's never felt love, empathy and something as simple as taste and smell change. The devil shows his true colors. Lots of drama, great writing and things you may not have known. When it's all done at the end of the day, the angel, the stripper become one with each other. They fall in love and that's where I'm going to leave it. Excellent read and highly recommend. HEA. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Terrific story!
Uri (short for Uriel) is an archangel who's searching for his target for "The Boss" but isn't exactly sure what he is supposed to do.Heather works as a stripper under the stage name Heaven, but as Heather she takes care of her drug addict twin sister Tiffany, and her pet Chihuahua named Taco. After Heather sees Uri at the club she dances at, she is immediately drawn to the handsome, mysterious stranger, and in spite of club policy that it's not allowed for dancers to become involved with clients, she finds herself opening up to him and trusting him.Uri isn't supposed to feel, just follow orders, but ever since the night Heather caught his eye he can't stop thinking about her, and doesn't realize that he's falling for Heather as he gets to know her better. However this assignment he's been given is still a puzzle to him, and he cannot figure out what Heather's destiny is, and that bothers him. What a terrific paranormal romance story; I loved the writing and the characters, I loved the romantic development between Uri and Heather. I would love to read more from the Four Winds series!

Light read
Uriel, is an Archangel of Destiny. Heather (Heaven) is his assignment. All he knows is her name and has no idea what the outcome of this assignment should be. After millennia of performing his duties Uriel has become world-weary and is losing his compassion for humanity. Heaven chose the life of a stripper in order to support her drug addicted sister and to pay for her mother’s medical bills. The Father makes appearances in the story guiding Uriel along and with his odd fashion sense lightens the mood of the story. Fully aware of how Uriel feels, he gives him the choice to fall in love with Heather and become human. Damien (the Deceiver) knows this and will use his deceitful ways to try to get Heather for himself.A light paranormal romance. Noticed a variation in the spelling of Damien (Damian) in the beginning. The “burning sensation”, “the heat”, used too many times. It took an encounter with the devil to convince Heather of who Uriel really was – such is human nature. I like books where I actually learn something and I got a few new words from this one (old English no less) - a definite plus. Uriel giggled. Do men giggle??? (smile)

Another amazing story from an amazing author!
The story of Uriel, the Archangel of Destiny, one of God's favorites. He's sent on "assignment" to earth once again, but isn't given any clues as to what his assignment is this time. Usually The Boss lets him know what destiny his mark is supposed to achieve, but this time he finds himself in a strip club. What in the world could The Boss have to show him here? This is where he meets his mark, Heaven (her stage name of course, real name Heather).Uri is drawn to her immediately, and she to him. Unlike some of the strippers who break the rules that Mama (the owner) has set, Heather isn't into drugs, performing "extra favors" for clients or even dating them outside of work. She's a good girl doing what she has to do to take care of her family. Her drug addicted twin, Tiffany, and her mother who has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. She works to pay for her mother to be in a home and rent for her sister so she isn't homeless. Plus taking care of all her own bills.Uri struggles with what The Boss tells him about this assignment because being the Archangel of Destiny is all he's ever known. And of course the Deceiver shows up to try and take Heather as his own. Since The Boss won't let him have anything good... he wants Heather because she is good. It's a great story about who you are destined to be. Really you have to read it! Uri is sweet and just *swoon*! And yes, while Uri is an angel the story isn't preachy about anything religious... it's a love story.I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a great love story.

3/5
I can't always decide if I like Angel stories. Sometimes they make a great paranormal subject, other times the religious angle feels a bit hokey and cringe-worth. This is a bit of both. I liked the archangel's journey and personal growth and I also enjoyed the paranormal activity that there was (although there's actually very few displays of power, fights etc). but a lot of times the book felt quite preachy, which is kinda weird where the whole point of the story if for the Angel to end up in bed with the girl. The human characters had a reasonable amount of depth and their reactions seemed fairly reasonable - if a bit quick (but then it's not a long book). Its romance story, rather then erotica, so you need to wait to the end for the steamy scenes, but they are sweetly done. All in all it's an ok story with a few good elements that makes the read enjoyable but I prefer a bit more supernatural in my supernaturals and a bit less preach. I don't think I will try the other ones in this series, but if you are new to paranormal romance from vanilla romance and like a moral plot, you might give this a go.

A spiritual romance
Uri is an archangel sent to earth to show people their destiny but God has decided that he needs a new path, so he sends him to watch Heather. Heather is a stripper, who pays to keep her mother in a home, and her sister off the street. To the outside world stripping makes her dark but the reasons for her stripping make her light. That's how God sees her and how Uri sees Heather when they meet. Will Heather give Uri the chance and believe how he's come to be in her life? The story is cute, the writing is ok and the characters were good. I found the story nice but could have been more in depth. It wasn't as realistic as it should have been. The underlying story is to keep the faith, which is nice. Lots of angst, sweet moments and intimate scenes which were well written. The ending is sweet and leaves you with a nice feeling.
