Long lasting comfortable rocking chair for an affordable price.
After more than 4 years of use with this chair, it has finally started to show its age with one of the screws/hinges on the left arm seemingly starting to sheer off and is now only held on by the bottom of the chair. However, this is after consistent daily use for hours on end as I do work in my office and presumably from the rocking over time. Overall I think this was a great product and I would have loved to receive another one for Christmas this year but was sad to see they're currently unavailable.

UPDATE!! Best chair Iโve purchased!
So I read alot of reviews before I bought this and alot of people complained it was squeaky. Mine is quiet as can be even when leaning back and I love how comfortable it is. I don't play for hours on end so it's perfect! Easiest set up you can just eyeball the whole thing even though you do get instructions. I'll update in the future if anything changes UPDATE: So Iโve had the chair 4 months now! Only problem I have is the covers that go in the screw holes fall out every now and then no biggy I eventually just too them out. As for the squeaking, mine did start to squeak but I donโt know if anyone has heard of WD40(sarcasm) but 2 sprays of that where the chair leans back and itโs quiet as can be! Havenโt heard a squeak since and I play sometimes while my wife is sleeping and she doesnโt hear the chair just the keyboard clicky clacking lol!

Has a leaning problem that worsens over time.
Since this is my first gaming chair I've bought. I figured to try something relatively cheap to dip my feet in the water and get a feel for what I'd be looking for in the future. Assembly was pretty easy to follow, I would highly recommend another person to help though. You will struggle if you do it on your own only because you need someone to hold the chair pieces in the right position, while you screw the parts in. It was relatively comfy once fully assembled I'll admit that. Comfort The mesh does help keep you cool, and the leather feels nice. the arm rest padding is pretty comfy, but it could be a little more thicker. Also, if you rest just your elbows on them they are not really comfy. The chair is a little soft at first, and your first few months will be really great. Unfortunately, over the months it becomes more firm, maybe a little too firm because after about 3+ hours gaming, your butt/thigh starts to hurt. It is pretty comfy leaning back on it for the first few months, but at about the 1 year mark the chair loses its ability to hold upright, even after tightening the screws. The moment I would sit down and relax on the chair it would start to lean back even with the no lean rod placed. This develops a pretty obvious unhealthy back posture of course. Notable mentions If you lean all the way back, and go just beyond that, you will lose your balance so be careful with that. This has happened to me only twice, so it wasn't anything too concerning. Also the gas has had zero problems whatsoever so I'm impressed with that. The most wear and tear you will get is the leaning problem. I only emphasize this because my chair actually broke on me for leaning back on it for too long of a stretch. The last week I was using it before it broke, I noticed that there were cracks around the screws of the right arm of my chair. I wasn't sure where those came from until just tonight I leaned back and I heard a snap and saw that the arm had cracked into two. the arm rests are literally attached to the base and the spine, so when leaning back, it stretches the arms over time, wearing it out till it breaks. As a 5'11" 220~ pound guy I'm surprised the chair lasted me this long with a year and a half in. If you plan on using this chair for long periods of time I would not recommend it. But for more casual few hour sessions, it does the job. For the cheap price of just 70 bucks, you get what you pay for. Rip First Gamer Chair Oct 2019 - April 2021

My review
Its a great disign, although its Cheaply made. I would love to see some updates with the materials they use thats for sure. -MAIN PROBLEMS I HAD WITH THIS CHIAR- โ Assembly, this chair is pretty straight forward to put together, although holes could be disaligned making it more difficult.. (made with no care) โ bad materials, the chair arms are made of plastic, as well is the seat itself . I threw a back pack on top of this chair and it has a few minor scratches due to doing so, showing damage on the main material, (seat will also start to peel over time) โ awful sounds, after a few days of use you will get to know about the sounds this chair makes, very obnoxious squeaking.. leaning back or even just turning it for that matter. Im only 140lb so i can not say its my weight. โ hight issues, This chair is NOT for anyone who is over 6'2" you will be very uncomfortable i guarantee. I am 6'3" and it is not a great feeling for your legs if you tend to sit at the desk for hours. โ comfort, the chair is not for someone that is able to sit at the desk for over 5 hours, you will start to feel back pain as well pain in your neck, due to it does not have a head rest as well. For it price im not at all suprised, but this is just a " for now" chair if anything.

Don't buy if you don't want to be hot
To start with the chair I bought was actually sold out and they substituted it for another product that was similar. The chair itself came with a rip in the seat and most of the decorative plastic chipped or broken. After speaking with their customer service I received a new seat but they refused to fix the plastic. The overall look of the chair is very pleasing to look at and looks really cool but not great for long sessions. Sitting for too long makes the chair uncomfortable and hot. I normally get up after a few hours of gaming to a sweaty back and or bottom because of the lack of breathability t o the chair. The armrests also are very loose and will generally not stay in one place. Edit: customer service is extremely helpful and will do anything to help you.

Customer service made things right.
AMENDMENT: I was contacted by the company's customer service department and offered significant compensation for being disappointed. The chair wasn't what I had hoped, but I was treated more than fairly here. Buy without fear, folks. This is the best customer service ever. If you don't like it they will make it right. There are definitely pros and cons to this chair. PROS -- I think the build on it is pretty nice. Screws didn't strip, and fit nicely into parts when assembling. The material is tight and durable. -- It looks really nice. Looks like a $250 gaming chair. Very sharp. -- Supposedly, the chair holds up to 300 lbs. instead of the average office chair, which is usually rated at 250-275 lbs. I am a 6'4" 300 lb. man, and it doesn't seem to have any problem supporting the weight, at least for this first week. CONS -- IT IS WAY TOO SHORT!!! The chair only lifts to 15.5" from the floor to the bottom of the seat. The diagram in the picture says 18.7", but I'm not getting that on my chair. WAY TOO LOW, especially for someone of my height. -- Not the most comfortable chair. Not horrible, but I can see this getting even worse over time. I have had the chair about four days and I can already feel the board under my behind. I am a heavyweight, though. For the 150-200 pounders, it may not be so bad. All in all, pretty nice chair for the price, but for the taller, heavier crowd it might not be the best option.

Broke within 10 months of normal use
Updated review after 10 months and a broken chair: I weigh 185 pounds at 5' 11" which is average height and weight. While sitting in this chair, I adjusted my seating position...aka shifted my butt in the seat...and I heard a loud pop followed by a tiny thud on the floor. The first of two lead? bushings shattered and fell out, leaving me completely lopsided in this stupid chair. Now I get why they sent the second chair as retribution for the misdrilled holes. They knew this piece of crap would fall apart eventually. So, my advice after having spent the money on it and used it normally for 10 months: don't buy it. Buy one that isn't just a little too short. Buy one that doesn't start failing on you after a few months of use. Buy one that actually has cushion in the seat. Don't be fooled by the pleather fabric. This chair is junk, through and through. You'd do better spending $30 in person at the local department store for a chair of the same quality that will probably outlast this one. My lesson learned: never buy a chair from an online retailer that has no real reputation to speak of. Updated review after having the chair for 8 months: This chair fails. The seat is uncomfortable after a couple hours of sitting, it has an odd rock to it even when the back is in the locked position, and it's to the point now that it barely locks in the upright position. The upright is now more of a mid-reclined position. I weigh 185, so not a big guy by any means. I'm 40, so I'm not a hyper kid bouncing on this thing or anything. It's just not quality and you should expect to replace this after about the 6 months mark. This shouldn't be purchased as a full time office chair, but if you only plan on using it for an hour a day you may be willing to settle for this chair. Original review after having the chair for a couple weeks: I had a minor issue (misdrilled hole in the underside of the seat) but the company responded quickly and resolved it (by sending me a second chair for free instead of having me send this crappy one back). This chair seemed** great for the price. It looked good, the pleather feels soft and nice, and it rolls smoothly. I was happy with this chair (until it was used for a few months) and with the service (free chair) this company provided. Thank you (for nothing at this point)!

The perfect home office/gaming chair!
I bought this chair for my adult son. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The quality is great for the price. My only complaint is the chair is loud! It is super squeaky. It squeaks, grunts, & groans. This chair makes the worst noises ever! Review Update: The company reached out to me after this review and offered me a brand NEW chair. They sent out a new chair that arrived in one day. How about that for customer service?!?!?! Iโm very impressed with this company and would recommend their products to anyone.
