Does not fit a 1980 kz650 LTD
The description says the mounting holes are 34mm apart, which according to my calipers is true, so my mistake.

Definitely nkt for a 1979 kawasaki kz650 way to small, holes dont line up. So wasted my money....

Did not fit 82 KZ750r
I read that vinegar would destroy my petcock so I ordered this as a replacement for my (supposedly ruined) original. I figured the design was probably just upgraded as this wasnt the only one I had seen online with this design. Obviously those bolt holes are not gonna fit. I filled the old one with gas and opened the valve. Didnt notice any leaking or anything so Im just gonna permatex it back on. Just thought Id make sure people check this if possible before purchasing. If this does fit your tank, everything seems to be in good working order. Good thickness on the gasket and feel. Valve could be smoother but its dry. Nothing that should bother you.

this unit will not fit my tank some thing don't fit because they said my bicycle is obsolete.

watch out...the petcock in the 12:00 position may not clear the gas tank.
uses a straight up 12 o clock position, dosnt fit KZ....and uses a small gas line, when the carb has a large gas line.

It doesn’t fit all kz650 models.
My bike has a 44mm distance on mount screw. This doesn’t. It seems that many kz models are 44mm, so be aware.
