Freeze Dried High Protein Grain-Free Dog Food Or Topper

I bought this food for my 5 year old Bull Terrier that has food and environmental allergies. She loves the food and doesn’t seem to be breaking out as she has in the past. It truly has only lamb meat and lamb organs, no hidden chicken fat ( very important, she gets welts with chicken). It does have eggs which was a concern but so far so good. She still needs allergy medicine (Apoquel, if your interested.. I was hesitant for years but I surrendered. I may try taking her off of it in the cooler months) for the outdoor: grass/pollen issue but overall her skin looks great and she’s not scratching or licking herself. She even leaned out which was an added bonus. The 8 lb bag ($200) in my opinion is ridiculously expensive but was surprised that it goes a long way. One leveled measured cup in the morning and another in the evening lasted 4 weeks for my 50 lb very athletic female. You must add water, warm preferably and let it soak in 2 mins. Looks like a chunky porridge. I continue to top with a little canned pumpkin as I have in the past but she seams to lick the bowl clean more aggressively. I think she likes it more than regular kibble.

Kitchen aid coffee grinder. Add water then Mix into bowl with fork..goes onto lick mat well unless you'd like to feed another water.. Pricey however blessing to afford this at moment and then will continue as topper if we can continue in future using as meal replace. Dog coat is shiny and he is a very healthy 5 pound Chihuahua.. I give him 1 and a half cups daily which keeps him at a good weight and loosing. Good so far..He's been on it for 4months now.

Great food, dogs love it and it's easier to deal with than the frozen raw food. It has the usual benefits of this kind of diet with small stool. The large box is also good so you are not constantly needing purchase. Only con is price but I still think it's worth it.

Good quality and healthy for your dog. Ours loves it, and it has been great to use for short training sessions with our dog. We take one piece of this and break it into two or three small pieces for training, as too much of this without a solid amount of water might be hard on a dogs stomach. Our dog will do just about anything for a piece of this! Crushing it up and sprinkling it over his dried food works well if we want him to eat right away (he's a bit of a day grazer otherwise).

I have a small yorkipoo with a delicate stomach. He was not able to tolerate raw frozen dog food, so I tried this freeze dried food. He does very well on it and gobbles it down. The food is small pieces, which I think really helps him eat it. It is also less runny and mushy than frozen dog food. A couple of things to note: You have to add warm water to this food, and I suggest covering it in the water and letting it soak upward of five minutes. I noticed that if I didn't let it soak long enough, my dog sometimes did not digest it completely. This means that if your dog does not like water in his/her food, it may not be for your dog. Also, you may have to adjust the food until you find how much your dog needs. With my dog, I watch his weight because a pound either way is a big deal on a ten pound dog. My yorkipoo eats more than the suggested amount of this food to maintain his weight. It is pure protein and vegetables, and so far, the company seems very reputable and careful about their ingredients. The price seems reasonable for raw freeze dried dog food as well, especially if you have a small dog. For my past big dogs, I would mix food like this with high quality kibble in order to keep it affordable.

We feed raw only. Not letting our dog daughter eat carcinogens in kibble. K9 Natural one of our favorite freeze dried foods. Particularly appreciate the larger bag sizes.

The list of ingredients and their nutritional values is very impressive. I was surprised though to read the package said it was not for human consumption. I expected it to be human grade. I do like the texture. Turns to gravy after soaking in warm water. My dog lives it. I just can't afford it as a regular part of her diet. I'm sure that being imported from New Zealand accounts for a lot of the cost.

Tried my dog on so many different foods but keep coming ba k to K9 naturals.

Normalerweise füttere ich HappyPet oder Fithound (Barf). Im Urlaub nehme ich dann dieses getrocknete Barf-Fressen. Mein Hund verträgt einige Fressen nicht - aber Barf - dieses Fressen verträgt er auch. Wenn man auf Hüttenwanderung geht kommt es auf das Gewicht an - da ist dieses Fressen optimal. Der Geruch ist nicht so einladend, aber man muss es ja nicht selbst essen. ;)

My little Yorkie is the fussiest eater I have ever known. She loves this product as a meal on it's own and a topper. K9 seemed quite expensive but it is a complete food. A quarter of a cup is a daily portion for a small dog, so one 500g pack lasts a month. Unlike all other foods, home cooked and bought, none of the K9 is wasted.

突発性難聴になり重症の目眩で我が子の食事を作ることができず、ずっと気になっていたk9を食べさせてみることにしました。 トイプードル3歳、ドライフードの好き嫌いが激しい、冷めた食事も好まない、毎日野菜を煮込んだものと肉、魚など色々なトッピングをしてきました。しかし私が寝込んでしまい我が子の楽しみが奪われてしまいました。 こんな状況でも安心安全な食事を与えたいとk9を選んだのです。 品質は最高だとわかっていましたが、ふやかした食事を食べるか？水分が多めのシャバシャバな感じを食べるのか？不安だらけでした。 私の不安は見事に裏切られ、お皿を舐めるほどの食いつきの良さでした。 ラム肉が大好きな犬です、グリーントライプも入れてとても満足した様子を見てホッとしました。 初日からとても良いウンチもでました。牧草地のような匂いがします。 今回のように生きていればどうにもならない時もあります。 そんな時でも食の安全を守れることは飼い主として本当にありがたかったです。 これをきっかけにk9は続けていこうと思います。
