This worked really well on our dryer vent. I was amazed at the amount of lint fibers that were built up on the wall of the piping. Great tool to help prevent a house fire from vent ignition over time. We have about a 25 foot long pipe and I removed enough lint to fill a tall kitchen garbage bag. We check the lint trap prior to every load and clean it and still found a large amount of lint in our dryer duct. If used correctly it will go around corners and through inline fittings pretty easy. Good quality, good price, works well, lots of tools and attachments but the basic tool works great by itself. Also our dryer performance seems better overall with shorter drying cycles.

This kitchen has been better than expected. Lots of tools to get the job done. Easy assembly, was able to clean out multiple areas in my dryer and exhaust pipe. The instructions are not that great, but it is easy enough to figure out. I highly recommend, it will save you money. Delivery was quick and packaged well.

Overall, it’s a good product. The vent brush worked very well, but the other attachments feel like overkill. The lint trap brush didn’t perform well—it’s too small and flimsy to effectively clean the lint trap area. As shown in the photos, the vent brush did an excellent job clearing out the vent. I’m glad I went with the 35-ft option; it’s better to have the extra length than come up short.

First thing to know - as soon as you get this product, open it and throw away the electrical tape they provide. It is the worst excuse for electrical tape I've ever used. Besides the tape, the rest of it worked great. The poles for feeding the brush through the duct work great. The adapter for the vacuum connection is a really nice feature. It allows you to clean the duct and vacuum at the same time without making a huge mess. The kit comes with a drill adapter that fits the poles. As long as you use REAL electrical tape, not the garbage that comes in this kit, it will work beautifully. The problem with that tape is that it tears very easily. It splits when pulling it off the roll and when removing it from the rods/poles when you're done. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from a lot of aggravation by using a quality tape.

Our Dryer kept having cool air due to the high temp sensor tripped. We bought a new dryer and found out that the exhaust flow was blocked. We found this set on Amazon with 35 feet since my vent is running through 2 walls before going outside. The price is quite reasonable with many things included although we don't use all of them for this task. The box came with everything although 1 connector rod missing a thread insert. All the rods connected very nicely and turn corners very well. All the rods are flexible and strong enough to create a 15-17 feet line to reach the top of the wall.. The brush worked extremely efficient, it's actually pulling the lint out while turning, it's amazing. We need to recharge the battery on the drill due to turning a long rod for a long time. We tried to do many time to make sure we get all the wet lint inside the vent. We couldn't believe this device worked so well. If we did this earlier we might not have to replace the old dryer. Now we can see the hot air coming out of the vent so strongly and it's been over a month. There are so many things in the box we haven't used but we're sure we will be using them for different applications. Great tools for a very inexpensive price, we love it, the important thing is it did its job and did it well and still intact.

This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. My experience - the brush was poorly packaged and deformed, the poles were excessively protected (caps on both ends on every pole). The poles were really hard to disassemble due to design (made adding/removing poles as I went difficult), and struggling with the difficult design made a mess as I tried to wrangle 20 feet of dusty brush in a small room. I had a shopvac providing a draft flowing toward the outside of the house (blowing or vacuuming, depending on which end of the pipe I was at) so other than while trying to assemble/disassemble the product we had very little dust kicked up in to the room. I couldn’t have cleaned the duct without this tool, but yet, several small (but impacting) issues cause this product to fall drastically from 5 to 3 stars. The good: Once I figured out all of this products design/usability issues I was able to clean a ~20ft vent successfully and had a routine figure out to quickly add/remove poles. The bad: 1) the packaging is poor - it shipped in a flat packed envelope, which is ok for the poles, but the brush ended up deformed - bent up on one side and smashed together flat on the other 2) the poles need a flat edge where they connect - when adding/removing poles it was very difficult to unscrew two poles which have been tightened by rotating inside a pipe. It doesn’t take much to unscrew them, but they get just tight enough that disassembly can’t be done easily by hand (in part due to no flat edges). After ending up with a mess trying to disassemble stuck poles, I ended up grabbing a vice grip wrench and pliers to twist the poles apart which took very little effort and made the job much easier. 3) the poles shipped with white rubber caps on both ends of the poles, its annoying to need to remove a pile of caps, especially when the brush was packed so poorly. I question why the metal ends were protected so well while the brush wasn’t even placed in a cardboard box to avoid damage 4) the poles were firm enough to get the job done, and our duct is straigh after the first foot - but the poles struggled to enter the pipe and take that initial 90 degree bend. Rotating while inserting helped, but if there was more than one turn or an unusual duct setup this tool might struggle more.

This kit was amazing and worked perfectly. They've thought of just about everything you could possibly need to do the job correctly, and then added a few extra goodies that are simply icing on the cake such as a pair of gloves, trash bags for the nasty clumps of lint that you're going to be cleaning out, a roll of tape as a safety to keep the extension rods securely screwed together. Overall the tools in the kit are well made and stand up to the use/abuse you might put them through. I'd highly recommend this kit for anyone who may be experiencing a dryer that doesn't seem to get your clothes dry on the first cycle. It more than paid for itself on the first use as it saved me the cost of paying an appliance repair man, not to mention the extra points I scored with the wife when the dryer was once again working correctly. Great product! One note, and perhaps the only two things that weren't in the kit that you might want to have was a pair of goggles and a face mask (probably have a few of those still hanging around thanks to the pandemic). Once you start getting busy with the cleaning process, lint can definitely get kicked up into the air and the goggles and mask will help protect your eyes and lungs.

After reading quite a few comments, sharing their experiences, I practiced some of the recommendation, used the plastic wrap to wrap all the joints, it went deep into the duct along the way, and was stuck in somewhere in the middle, ( the total lenght of my duct to the outlet is about 25 feet). I was so worried that it might break or loosen joints that the brush head would then stay there and never be taken out. . . . as I read a comment that suggested never use reverse function. . . I had no choice but use the reverse function, very very slowly. . . it works, it was loosened, slowly, I reserved it back out. then I went to the outlet of the dryer drain outside the house, and cleaned the other remaining duct. Now it is working very good. We did not have a lot of garbage moved out but good enoug to clear out the whole duct and get the clothes "smelless" as before. Moreover, I can loosen the joints quite easily by holding the joints with two pliers twisting them loose for storage. we will do the clean up once a year with this tool. Highly recommend.

I needed to clean about 50 years of build up out of the dryer vent. I was able to clean all the vent pipes and most of the inside of the dryer. The extension pieces for the brush are not flexible enough to go around a 90 degree elbow.

I bought a 50 year old house and my new dryer gave an error message indicating a 95% reduction in air flow. This kit has almost everything you need, they even supply tape to reinforce the connectors for the rods that connect to the reaming brush. My duct is 14 feet long. The clog was so dense the brush couldn’t advance, I took the remaining rods and taped a hook to the tip and broke through the blockage manually and fished out the lint and then I used the brush to finish the cleaning. Worked great, the rods held up great to the twisting from the drill. I recommend guaranteeing a clear path before you place the brush, or else you might just pack the lint. Very useful kit.

This will prove to be an invaluable tool for making sure my dryer is free from lint build-up. This kit is well worth the money and easy to use. It even came with a laundry bag for lingerie or other items. The extensions for cleaning the hose from outside are going to be great and it's nice to have a storage bag for all the parts.

I was very impressed with the quality and the quantity of various components to easily clean my dryer vent. It was so easy to vacuum out the build up of lint in the vents as well as the dryer itself. This package came with all the tools you need, except a drill and a vacuum. I highly recommend this product. Significantly better than what I could get at the big box stores for this price.
