Umberto Giannini Flowerology Naturally Kinder Vegan Colour Dark Blonde 7.0 Cruelty Free

Great product & not tested on poor animals. East to use and results in a lovely natural colour too.🐹

I bought this because it is more natural and has less nasties than all the other hair colourants being sold in the UK and is quicker, less messy and much easier than henna which is the most natural hair colourant available but is a nightmare in cold weather as you freeze to death with it on your head for hours. I also chose it because I have a very sensitive scalp which becomes itchy for other hair colourants including the reflex ones (available at Holland and Barrett). My first try of the Umberto Giannini dark brown left me with darker hair but the greys were not covered however no itchy scalp. When I put it on a second time because I had no sensitivity the last time I used it, I put it on for longer (approx. 45mins-1 hour) than the instructed 1/2 hour and ended up with my grey hairs being covered and again no scalp issues plus the more I use it the more it covers them. I use it just over every 2 weeks which is about as long as other colourants last and is still cheaper than going to a salon. You need to be careful because this is actually darker than dark brown, looking more black, and probably because it's more natural it doesn't really fade to a the brown colour it's supposed to either. There are also not multi-tonal colour in this colourant so it's just one uniform colour but I am happy as it is a much cleaner, natural, partly organic option.

This is a very nice product. It smells amazing and did not damage my sensitive scalp or hair. I was in between growing out blonde highlights and having my brown roots showing. I have tried other OTC brands, but usually ended up with an itchy scalp and irritated ears/face. Not with this brand. Also most other box dyes for brown hair to get a natural light brown are too dark for my hair. So it's good to find a box dye that comes close to my natural colour. Only downside is that the conditioner provided is in a tiny bottle size. It barely covered half my hair. Most box dyes you get around 2 uses out of the conditioner. I would give 5 stars for more conditioner. It's divine smelling and makes my hair silky soft.

I have been buying this hair colour through Amazon for some time and I love it. It covers my grey brown hair well and the dark blonde is a forgiving colour (I would normally use a light brown but they only do a medium brown, which is too dark). I have been paying £10 per packet but recently went on to the UG website where the total price (with free delivery) was £14 for 2 packs of 2 i.e. a total of £14 for 4 packs, which would have cost me £40 if I had bought them from Amazon. So in future I will be purchasing all of my UG products direct from UG and definitely not through Amazon.

I bought this because it's cruelty free and states that it covers 100% of grey hairs. I used the whole bottle and half of that was almost exclusively used on the top of my head where most my greys are as I really wanted to make sure they got enough dye. The rest of my hair is highlighted light blonde which should have gone to a darker tone by using this. I left it on for 40 mins as the packet states for stubborn greys. No noticeable difference at all. As far as I can see there has been no colour deposited anywhere. Very disappointed as I like this brands products normally and for the price I could have bought something much better.

I am well versed in using at-home hair dyes on my naturally brunette, fine, wavy (quite dry) hair.I loved that this was vegan, had nice packaging, and importantly didn't arrive with loads of plastic and un-recyclable packaging.It was a really interesting texture I hadn't experienced in a hair dye before - more like a jelly than a cream but it went on easily, smelt nice and the results are great. I opted for 5 - medium brown, but I would say it's more like a dark brown (4ish), it's lightened VERY slightly in 2 weeks but it has really good staying power compared to other brands, and my greys remain away.Full marks but if you are between two shades, I would opt for the lighter one :-)

This is my fourth box of the natural brown. I love the colour and the way my hair feels after dying but it struggles to cover over the greys. I have left it on for longer as in the instructions and super coated any roots. However I'm dying far too regularly to cover up as its not hiding them as much as I would like.

The first good noticeable thing about this hair colour was the lack of chemical odours which is helpful for anyone with chemical sensitivity. Instead there was a very faint aroma of flowers. Once applied to my mid-length hair, there was no tingling sensation of my scalp. I have very sensitive skin and have found other vegan colourants harsher on my skin and quite drying to my hair. But I was pleasantly surprised that this product did not dry out my hair. I have aging hair with a lot of it is grey and this product coloured my grey so that it appeared like I had blond highlights which looked really fab. The colour was a nice natural blond - no yellowing at all. Previous colourants I've used have left my hair looking a brassy yellow but this was the best I've tried so far and over the years, I've tried many.The only thing I would suggest is if you have longish or very thick hair, buy two boxes to get good coverage. That said, I would recommend this product.

My daughter uses only this product as it doesn’t damage her hair at all.

I love, love, love Umberto Giannini Flowerology! This is a new hair color experience! Say bye bye forever to nasty smelling hair color! Instead look forward to a pleasant floral scent. The Dark Blonde 7.0 is a lovely shade. It does not fade or turn to the dreaded brassiness like other brands after a few weeks. I am thrilled Flowerology is available on Amazon. I love the color, and it covers my grays. It doesn’t smell like harsh chemicals. I don’t feel guilty about using it because I’m not worried that I’m hurting animals and the environment. The only problem is that it fades completely after two weeks. I’ve read other reviews and no one else seems to have this problem. I use all natural hair products that are safe for color treated hair. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve used it three times now with the same results. I’m considering trying a new brand.

I am so glad I purchased this friendly hair coloring. The coverage is great. I didn’t smell like a load of chemicals and it wasn’t overly hard like other products I’ve used in the past, to wash out. Will defiantly be using moving forward for any hair color needs.

The color is true to the guide on the box. I used this for my regrowth and to highlight the front of my hair. The product didn't trash my hair! It left my hair soft and manageable. Would recommend and have purchased again for future use.
