Colorful Flower Petals Latex Swim Cap

I take an aqua fitness class and a woman had this on. I'm an old 40s, 50s, 60s woman at heart and this made me happy. I love it and I get so many compliments.

Just love this swim cap! The only problem (very small problem) is that it has a very strong rubber order. Came out of the packaging that way. Have worn it several times and it is not as strong. So I am hopeful that it will disappear altogether soon. The colors are vibrant and it fits comfortably. Everyone in my aqua exercise class comment how much they light it and how happy looking it is.

I had some mixed feelings about this cap. I LOVE the colors of the flowers and the cap looked in person as it does on the computer screen. I had hoped that it would have a chin strap, especially since it was a little large on my head, The other issue was getting the cap on there are no tabs on the sides so some of the flowers tore slightly as I tried to pull the hat on. Other then that I LOVE this cap and get lots of compliments on it.

I bought this to protect my hair from turning green when I swam. I'm not an Olympian by any means and it went great with my retro swim suit. One problem i had was that the ear flaps do not seal over your ears properly so its very easy for water to get in, but not clear out. This is perfect for those who are just hanging out in the pool, but not really for those who are actually swimming.

Yes, it smells plasticky. No, the seal is not fantastic. But let's face it--you are not buying this swim cap because it's functional. You are buying it because it is fabulous. I wanted a swim cap like the one my grandmother had in the '60s, and this is it. Kept my hair dry in a pool party-type situation (e.g., lounging in the water but not actually dunking my head), got compliments from everyone, and totally mesmerized a toddler. (He wasn't sure about me, but was utterly fascinated by the cap.)

I purchased this cap for my wife. We go swimming at the YMCA pool and she wanted a cap to protect her hair from the chlorine. She loves the vintage style and the cap does keep the water out. The cap also covers the ears. Her only complaint was that she thought there should have been a chin strap to be true to the vintage look. A bit of care must be taken with the cap to not pull on the flowers when adjusting the fit and be sure to rinse the cap after a swim.

I have a ginormous head. This fits, but just a smidge tight. Probably no problem for 98% of women. I LOVE the retro look. It makes me smile every time I put it on. I wish Michael Phelps would wear one when he competes.

When I received my "colorful" petals swim cap it is solid white. The cap itself and the flowers are all plain white latex? I checked the barcode sticker on the back of the internal package itself to see if that were the mixup once scanned etc (even though the internal packaging is clear plastic and you can see what color -or no color- the swim cap is..It even says under the barcode 'Vintage Style Colorful Petals Latex Swim Bathing Cap NEW'Needless to say, not what I ordered. Not sure if I am going to even bother returning/exchanging because it may be too much hassle.

I have bought several of these and really like them. They do let water in so be prepared to have wet hair. I buy them to keep the hot sun off my head when swimming in an out door pool. And these caps last for a few years to.
