Got this for my husband's jeep. He put it in immediately and it was easy to install. He had it up front but since he's tall we were afraid he'd be hitting his head on it. So we put it in the back above the back seat and it works great! Nobody's hitting their head and it's out of the way for the dog. Guns fit in nice and snug and are secure. Great product!

I love this gun rack. I can install or remove it in under three minutes with a 1 1/8" wrench or crescent wrench. What Jeep Wrangler accessory is that easy? Before my guns would just bump around in back with the rest of my camping gear. Holds the guns really well without rattling. We put a lot of miles on bumpy, rutted four wheel drive trails this past hunting season and I would even forget the guns were above my head. With my TJ Wrangler hardtop I found I had room to install the spreader bar so the gun clips were on the top of it and I had much more head room (I'm 6' 2"). This is definitely worth the money.

i installed this rack on my kawasaki mule 610. wanted an overhead because there's not a lot of cab room on the mule for the more convenient floor mounted rack. anyway, it installs easily and it holds two long guns fairly securely, (if you don't drive too crazy). the rack has pretty thick padding, and the velcro straps will keep your guns from falling out, but they will slide to the left and right within the holders over rough ground. also, i'm 6'2" tall and the brim of my cap hits the rear rack if i lean too far forward. annoying. i may cut the rear rack off since i usually only carry one rifle or shotgun. it's built stout and it does keep your guns out of the way and out of the weather. you can access them fairly quickly too. i'll give it 4 stars.

Great product not so much for convenience as it is for safety. For all the purchases I have made for my 2018 Kawasaki MULE SX 4x4 XC SE this is by far the best one. Went in fairly simple since I do have a husband who throws the instructions away and still managed to install it. My husband took a little getting used to not having the gun right beside him when we hunt, but after his gun slipped out into a river when he was out one day....this item made perfect sense to have. It fits tight, I hear a bit of a squeak but this may be on his adjustment and a tightening up should do the trick. The rifles are snug and tightly in place no danger of them falling out on your head. I hope this helps I think reviews matter and I read them and share my information to pass along as well. Happy Hunting ;) P.S. just remember to take them out after you load your ride onto your trailer....this has happened a few times to us, though still safe when we got home.

Works good but if you are taller and you’re using this in, for example, a Wrangler TJ Jeep, you’re going to hit your head. An option would be to put only one rifle and put it as far forward as possible. Other than that holds the rifle securely, even with a scope.

I have a 2016 2 DR JK, and while the install was very straight forward, the dimensions and positioning of the rack was in direct way of my forehead. The way it mounts doesn't work for the purpose I needed, but it may for someone else. It's built like a tank, so no issues with quality at all.

The piece is amazing fits perfectly, you could honestly makw this on your own, but i was lazy lets face it, this rack was able to hold my mosin nagant as well as a 10/22 survival rifle, and if you position the rack right, other cars will not see your rack. I live in the crappy state of california, which btw you can legally use a gun rack in your jeep just make sure they are unloaded and ammo is locked away, ive been pulled over and the officers dont seem to care about the rifles hanging there, but doesn't mean that you shouldnt know your gun laws about transporting firearms. Regardless the product is very sturdy and holds up well, 5/5

I wanted a two gun rack for a Can-Am Commander looked up the site and 851 was supposed to be that. I got a single gun and Bow holder. Measure your scope because some won’t fit depending on which way you put your gun in. Not enough adjustment holes you need to drill you own if it doesn’t fit yours. Shipping is crazy
