Comfortable, durable, and most important... waterproof! I can feel my foot get cold because of water around it, but when I take these off after a round of disc golf my socks and feet underneath are bone dry.

These socks were perfect for a wet and muddy 100 mile hike on the West Highland Way in Scotland. I got them at the last minute and I'm so glad I did. It rained every day of the week-long hike, much of the trail was waterlogged and boggy from previous rain and many of the stream crossings which once could have been forded with rocks sticking out of the water were now covered with water. I wore the waterproof socks with a toe sock liner and the liner socks never got wet. The socks kept my feet dry and blister free. I plan to order more!

These of course aren't truly waterproof. If you stick your foot in water it's getting wet but if water splashes on them you're likely to stay dry. The main problem is when my husband's feet sweat the water becomes trapped inside then his feet stay wet. I told him to wear a normal pair of socks under them to wick away the sweat but then it's too thick to wear with his shoes.

Purchased to use on an upcoming trip to Zion National Park and our hike through the Narrows. Ran them under the tap to make sure they are waterproof and they definitely are. Tried them on and they are comfortable and very warm!

I use waterproof socks sometimes when I don't want my feet to get wet when I take a shower (so they don't get dried out). I've tried a lot of waterproof socks over the last couple of years, and these are the best. They are the most waterproof, don't get smelly quickly, good fit. If you were wading in a stream, they might not be the best because they are short, but that's what I wanted. This company does have a version that is much taller, if you were wading in streams.

3-star initially due to being billed as calf length and waterproof does not go all way to top. Soft & flexible. Passed leak test (inside out and filled with water) - no water leaked through. Shorter than expected, wanted material to go higher on leg, these will be just above high top boots however the top portion is just knit material and not waterproof. So, if you go above the actual waterproof section of sock you will have cold wet material against your skin. Ordered size med for size 11 foot. They appear to be a good size for my feet. Requires later update once they are used on fishing excursion.

I am 100% Disabled vet terrible feet, I have Psoriasis Arthritis for 20 years. These are the best socks I have ever found so well made, I bought a number more pairs. You can mop up small spills and not get your feet wet.
