DU-200C Deluxe Natural Mahogany Concert Ukulele

Purchased this item as a christmas gift for my granddaughter. She loved it! I chose a concert size which is much easier for a 7-year old to transition with chords. She is doing great and is very happy with her gift. It is beautiful and has a wonderful sound.

Already have a Diamond Head soprano uke and after putting on some proper strings it has a fantastic sound! Decided to add a tenor to the collection so went with another Diamond Head and it's also a great instrument. The hard white plastic strings that come with it, though they look nice enough, are harder to press down and do not sound as nice as Martin or D'Addario strings. So, spend another $5 on some strings and you have a quality instrument for around $70.00.

Doesn't stay in tune, tuners are trash. Strings are crappy, but it looks pretty. Overpriced for the quality,

I'm a classroom music teacher and I bought a class set (25) of these ukuleles in two different purchases. The first 12, bought in 2019, were great right out of the box.I bought another 13 in fall of 2020 and between then and now, 10 of them have lost their A string. It's not a huge deal, but the set I bought in 2019 has been just fine; a string replacement here and there but nothing unexpected. There's also a sound quality difference, but haven't replaced all four strings on any of the new ukuleles yet.If you're buying one, just buy a decent set of strings and learn to change them. If you're buying them for a class, be ready to search for A strings in bulk.

I attended an Intro to Ukulele class and immediately was interested in learning to play. This brand and model was one of the ukuleles used in the class, so I bought one. Quality is very good and I've really enjoyed learning how to play. I'd recommend this to anyone who is a beginner and wants a quality instrument to learn on.

It is not top of the line but it is very good for what I was looking for. I am building a playable wall in my music room. Any instrument hanging on the wall is playable. So far I have a mandolin, ukulele, 2 guitar's, a trombone, and a flute. I am looking at a clarinet, a couple of saxophone's, a trumpet a couple of recorders, and a few other items when I get paid. Its a once a month thing, sometimes 2 months. The Diamond Head Ukulele sounds good, no complaints at all. easy to learn to play. For beginners it is ideal. Buy one if your into a little fun. You will be tip-toeing thru the tulips in a very short time..I like it so get one and get started.

I'll give you a quick rundown of this instrument, The tuners are fine, the strings are old looking and sound awful. It does intonate decently for the price but the glaring problem with it is that it feels like splinters when you hold the instrument. The baritone has a big problem with sounding buzzy. Overall it's not a pleasant experience.

My son learned to play the ukulele at school and wanted to get his own. His music teacher recommended this one to us and it was the perfect recommendation! Well priced, nad very nice quality!

Muy bonito y ligero. La forma lo hace especial u se ve mejor que en la foto. Lastima que las cuerdas con las que viene son enteramente plasticas y no de nylon. Suena muy bien una vez afinado. Me gustaria un mejor trabajo de barniz pero tal vez le quite el estilo. Esta hecho en china por cierto.

Nice ukelele purchased as a gift for my nine year old granddaughter as a gift. Could be packaged a little better as it arrived with the box broken, and the item inside was only in a plastic bag with no other protection from banging around. Nevertheless, the item was not damaged and is a really nice size. Sounds good.

Sieht wunderbar aus,doch die Qualität lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Dann lieber mehr Geld ausgeben und gleich was Gescheites kaufen. Verzieht sich dauernd, trotz langem dehnen und neuen Saiten.
