Most importantly, the water tastes good—it's crisp, clean, and has no chemical or "tap water" aftertaste. Pro Tip for Installation ⚠️ Important: Like any carbon filter, make sure to run some water through to rinse it out before first use. I usually run about 2–3 gallons through the line to clear out any loose carbon fines and air bubbles. Once that's done, it’s good to go! Excellent Value This is a fantastic alternative to the much more expensive LG or Kenmore original filters. You get the same quality of water for a fraction of the cost. Working well so far. Seconds to remove the old filter and pop in the new one. These actually allow a higher level of pressure as opposed to original filters. My ice maker didn’t immediately start working but I was able to hand turn the flaps that ejects the ice from its tray a few times and now it’s working fine. My last OEM filter was more expensive for one than what I paid for this 3 pack. Filling up a cup of water is faster than ever now.

A set of three filters for less than the cost of a single filter locally, I say great value. The only advice I would give is to Ron a couple of litres through the filter when you first install it. I detected a very small taste at first but after flushing a few litres it was all good. Great product, great price, worth five stars.
