I understand these dont have a mike. If a child uses this on a video chat, will the oerson on the other end be able to hear them, even without a mike?

Yes. Even though these headphones do not have a built-in mic, you can speak into the device's mic that you are plugged into. The person on the other end will hear it.

Will they fit children 12-14 years old?

Yes. I bought them for my 12 yr old and she absolutely loves them. They look and feel like they cost way more than what I bought them for. I highly recommend!
