The Questions of King Milinda: Part 1 & 2 (Forgotten Books)

Fairly Good Version
Hi, All.I always check customer reviews on obscure or rare books and so I figured I'd write one to help those who are thinking about making a purchase. The amount of bad publishers out there is vile and so I always appreciate a heads-up from a fellow reader on a poorly edited version of a text.I won't comment on the actual content of this book because if you are considering ordering it then you must know what it's about and why you want to read it. I'll simply say something about the actual layout and text. This version of "The Questions of King Milinda" is in fairly good order. There are little to no typos or errors. The actual layout and font type seem a bit pedestrian, but it is readable, legible, and organized. I recommend this version as your first order of it. If you want to find earlier editions after, I say, go for it.Thank you

everything is good except that some words have been cut off in the intro. Ancient words that apply just as well in the 21st Century
In the first half of the book the dialogue answers many questions that I have posed myself, and the answers are excellent. For anyone interested in eastern thought, this book is a must read. I found the second half to be far less enlightening, almost as if it was written by a disciple that did not fully understand the words of a master. The breaking point is clear though. The translator has an introduction to the second portion, and for me that is the stopping point.

A must read for any student of Buddhism, regardless of what school you belong too.
A very important and great book. Many questions were answered. It helped answer many of my philosophical questions.
