Hi there, Let me please give a review. I have not yet tested night vision, so I will get it updated once I do so. There are four areas I can comment on. 1. Overall the camera came on time, well packed, looking pretty neat due to its small size. 2. Customer service. We all know in modern USA customer service not as it used to be. Well, ONREAL guys are EXCEPTIONALLY great (forgive my caps lock). They are available on email ([email protected]) and will always, with extreme details, sometimes with video, answer your questions and address your concerns. Thank you, Andy! Well, when you have any issues – just shoot them the email (I sent many!) and you’ll get response pretty fast (please note 12 h difference with most USA states.) 3. Please note that the settings at the moment you have it unpacked are default settings. Some might be unusual for someone who did not used dash cam before (like me), so do not panic. What made me scared at first was that camera would turn off completely very soon after I unplugged it from the power source; and turned back on automatically when plugged back in. After the car turned off, at 10 seconds, the dash cam automatically turns-off too, this situation is normal. Because if you want to use the dash cam for monitoring, you will need some energy to have ‘left’ in a battery. So essentially, if you do not want it always plugged in, - choose another model. I bought 2 Way Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Splitter (also has USB Charger) Power Adapter 12V. So that I can always plug in something else. I have also bought Car Wire Clips (Self-adhesive), to route the wire. Length was sufficient for my car (and my sig lighter is actually on the right side of driver seat, not under dash panel). 4. Please note that default setting is turn the screen off after 1, 3 or 5 minutes. Camera is still RECORDING. Again, do not panic. This is made in order not to distract driver. You can put this option (dormant) OFF, so your camera is always on if you prefer this. I found having it OFF quite convenient, though. 5. G-force: pretty sensitive. 6. The time, date, and coordinate footnote are also fine (so far for a week), no issues. 7. Picture quality: this camera produces crisp, detailed video during day (not yet tested at night). Please see my pics at sunny day, and during rain. However, as someone already noted, the video file is of higher quality when played on computer, using VLC. 8. I did not use WiFi, and do not plan to, so no comment on this option. 9. What I did not like: I would personally prefer better instruction book, but I am not tech savvy. SD card. Many people would need an adapter from micro SD to SD to see video on computer. I wish it was in a box. You can, however, use USB from camera, set it to “Storage mode”. 10. Well, that’s it for now. Again, I’ll use this space to publicly thank Andy from ONREAL, and recommend this camera to everyone.

I have had a few dashcams but they were never as good as this one. it was easy for hubby to install and it took just a short time to learn the ins and outs of the settings. The dashcam is of better quality than other dashcams I've owned. Great picture front and back. I haven't checked out the night vision yet. The display is small but who's going to be watching the camera while driving and if a video needs to be watched then that's what the app is for. I did have an issue at first with the app but I figured it out mostly. I still have some playing to do to understand everything better. I'm so happy with this product, that I ordered another one for hubby's truck.

Very frustrated with this. Getting little or no customer service thru emails. I bought this to use both cameras. The rear has no instructions at all. I know to plug the wire in to top of camera but what's the red wire for? No mention of anything in the booklet about it? If I find out the red wire has to be spliced to another power supply I may just return it. I was expecting a better experience with the big promises they make. Edit: Ok, I finally heard back from them so I added another star. For future refence the red wire is so you can use the rear camera as a backup camera by hooking it up to the taillights/reverse somehow. I did not use it that way. The cameras themselves seem to be good quality. The instructions leave a lot to desire although I did figure out how to use a few things at least. I would probably give this 4-5 stars if they would fix the language barrier with the instructions. Example: they did send the download app for the GPS as requested but it seems to be in Chinese and again, no instructions that I could find on how to use it. The camera is nice though.

First, they did accept my return without any problems. Thanks for that. Also they included a 32G micro SD card-SanDisk class 10. That was nice. I had a lot of difficulty viewing the few videos that I made. Other users said get a reader and try the SD card that way. That gets to ease of use for me. I felt that I should have been able to hook up the camera to my computer as I have with the 2 dash cams I had before this one. Then the camera locked up on me and I was never able to get it out of that mode. Things happen and it could have been user error so I looked at the manual. It was confusing because of a poor translation from another language. In the end, the manual was no help. Next I went to the website. My antivirus generated an error when I tried to open their page. Problem with a certificate. I got the error with another browser too but finally I decided to take a chance and go there anyway. The website was primitive and not helpful. I did also contact the seller for help but received no response. For those reasons, I felt that there was not adequate support for this product. I paid $199 less a $30 coupon. For that price, they should have tech support.
