38/50/60/88mm Carbon Wheelset 700c Clincher 23mm Wheel UD Matte Finish

Update - I have now put about 1500 miles on them, the have been fast, solid and a great wheel set so far. There are signs that the front is every so slightly out of true, so I will get them tuned up soon, but in my experience no wheel stays totally true after 1500 miles of abuse, potholes etc. Would definitely buy again. I have put around 100 miles on them so far, and until now they are very impressive for the price. I will post a long term update review as I add miles. They arrived well packaged, and were true out of the box. Installing them was pretty straight forward and the only issue I had was getting the brake pads into my old rim calipers, but after trimming off the excess they fitted well. I fitted them with Bontrager R3 Tyres and they were much easier to fit to the rims than my Conti 4000s I previously struggled with on my old wheels. I could pretty much do it by hand. They are noticeably lighter than my Shimano R501 C30 clinchers, and the bike feels quicker to accelerate and easier to handle into corners as a result. They also feel smoother on the road. My first road resulted in my knocking over a minute of my best strava time on a steady climb I do. I did this holding the same watts as I had done previously, so the only conclusions I have is that the lighter and more aero wheels made the difference. I have repeated the effort on a different day, with the same results. It certainly feels quicker as soon as I go over 270 / 280 watts and into the 300s on climbs, and on the flats I can hold 20+mph a little easier. The braking performance also surprised me as it is actually better than I had with my previous non carbon wheels. I tested the brakes down a descent of 5 minutes or so, stopping to see if there was any heat build up, and the brake track was stone cold. After the first couple of rides they remain true and I am very impressed in the quality for the price.

I went with the 50mm front & back wheels after reading a lot of reviews. I live in a rather windy area. so 50mm was a good balance between aerodynamics and not getting blown over by a strong crosswind. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably get 50mm front and 88mm rear wheel combo, but I'm not disappointed. I will say I notice a slight speed improvement over 25 mile distances. Somewhere between 0.25 mph and 0.5 mph. They make a unique sound as you ride them, which I personally like. It's not louder - just different. I haven't noticed any issues with breaking distance, even on fast downhills, so it seems like reviews complaining about that are overblown. From a quality perspective, these seem sturdy and true. The balance was perfect. I've taken a number of debris strikes over the first 500 miles I've ridden them, including a pretty big hit from a twisted piece of metal that I was certain broke a spoke - but it didn't. Some extra spokes are includes, so that's nice in case that ever happens. Overall, these are light as a feather, true in balance, and seem strong enough to last. That makes these a great bargain vs. expensive brands like Zipp. If you are on the fence like I was, I say give them a try. You could replace them twice and still have spent less than the brand name wheels. Final suggestion - pick up some tubes with 80mm presta valves. Using the extenders is wonky, so spare yourself the headache.

I bought the 80mm and I’d have to say I’m very pleased with them so far. I like the loud noise of the rear hub, the quality of the carbon seems good and the performance of the wheels is noticeable. I’ve ridden a little over 150 miles with no issues. I used the wheels in a recent Ironman 70.3 and the performance was excellent. The difference climbing was very noticeable and so was reaching top speed on straight aways, downhills and flats. I’m going to continue to ride these until failure and then rebuild the wheels with new spokes and better hubs. Few things to consider: purchase a quality set of valve extenders. The ones that came with the wheel set were garbage and did not work with any tubes. As other reviews mentioned, don’t rely on the brake pads that come with the wheel set. Do yourself a favor and throw those out and buy and install a higher quality ones for better stopping power and more reliability. Definitely a solid option and worth the price!

Purchased this product in September 2023. Since then I've put several thousand miles on them. Initial impressions was great. They appear well made without any defects in the carbon. The hubs are decent and roll sightly while pedaling. They spin much smoother than my 10 year old hubs (ya, it was past time to get new bearings and upgrade). I usually ride about 10-20 miles per day and more on the weekends with 50+ group rides for special occasions. The biggest down side I've found to keep this from being a 5 star review is the spokes. They keep comming undone. I've never had that problem with any other wheels set. Even if I tighten them, they still come lose. (I'm careful to keep the wheel true when replacing them.) This last time the spoke broke on the axel end and now I need a replacement spoke. I'm not jumping or riding on any gravel. Just standard asphalt roads. I do feel I've gained some speed with fresh wheels and hubs. ***update 7/19/2024 - three more spokes have broken. I'm not hitting anything or jumping. Just normal road rides. I even took the wheel to a bike shop to have it professionally balanced. I have started replacing my spokes with 253mm round so I can see how many I have replaced.. 8/25/2024 - lost another rear spoke. That makes 5 so far. I been riding only on the street, about 100 miles a week or more depending on time, and then a few longer group rides a year.

My first ride on these was in December 2020. Since then I have put about 1200 miles on them. They are still as perfect as the first day out of the box. The bearings are super smooth. The wheels are seemingly still perfectly true; no "hop" or side-to-side wobble evident. They are noticeably stiffer than the Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels they replaced, and produce quicker acceleration. They also ride lighter and climb better. The wheel rim is 23 mm, which is ideal for the 25 mm tires I use. 23 mm is also ideal for even larger tires that are becoming popular. I chose the 50 mm wheels; a good balance between aerodynamics, weight and strength. I don't care for the loud freewheeling noise from the rear hub, but It is not a performance or quality issue. For the amazingly low price, these are a steal. Extra spokes are included in the box. I just don't see how CF wheels costing three times as much could be three times better. I can never go back to aluminum rims. And, they just look cool. TWO YEAR,FOUR MONTH REVIEW See all above. Still noisy, but otherwise perfecto. Braking surface still smooth and whole. After an extra 2500 miles since purchase, they still roll true. Why do so many other brands cost so much more?

I have taken these out for about 200 miles over the last week. So far, they have been flawless. They came well packaged with skewers, brake pads, stem extender and spare spokes. They were as true as could be right out of the box. The brake pads are white and seem to work pretty well but they will leave a lighter color where they rub the basalt brake track. I haven't tried them going down any serious canyons yet. These do make the typical carbon wheel sound as you go down the road. If it isn't obvious from looking the sound will give them away to folks that recognize it. The front hub is completely silent as expected. The rear pawls are just a bit louder than my old hub at slower speeds but it isn't anything I can hear over wind noise except at low speeds. The hub does have more engagement points than my old hub so that is a definite plus. The weight for both the front and the rear are in line with the product description. The set ended up being down about 300 grams switching from some older Ksyrium wheels, even with a slightly heavier rear cassette. The first ride I took with them over 20 miles I went from 19.9 mph average to 21.3 over the same route. Not very scientific but since I had yet to break 20 mph average over that course some credit can be given to the wheels. I wanted a pair of aero wheels to make going faster a little easier without the obnoxious lettering on them. These are just what I wanted and at a very good price.

UPDATE AFTER ~1000 MILES: I've been riding the 50 mm deep rim wheels about 5x per week since I bought them in May. Unfortunately the rear wheel spokes are all fatigued and three broke so far. I will need to rebuild the wheels before I bother riding them again. I checked the spoke tension and trueness of the wheels this morning and they were pretty good. The tension was uniform and the same as when I first bought them. They were pretty true, still. In fact, one good thing about these wheels is when the spokes pop, the wheel stays reasonably true. I'm a heavier cyclist 230-ish pounds and can produce lots of power and regularly sprint on these things going up steep hills and our roads are pretty rough, but still not even a year and only 1000 miles, is not much, My old reynolds wheels only started having issues after 10+ years of abuse. My conclusion on these wheels is, the rims are pretty good. The hubs are OK, and the spokes are too cheap. I might replace all the spokes with DT swiss over the winter and see how they do next season. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: I've had these wheels on my bike for a little more than a month, about 300 miles on all sorts of roads from worn out chip and tar to rough township road pavement to nice smooth asphalt. I've sprinted on them, climbed on them, rode tempo through the countryside, etc... so far so good. I'm at the heavier end of the road racer body type spectrum. They're setup as clinchers and I'm using tubolito knock-off tubes. I might pick up a second pair of the really deep rims. I'm curious to see if the deeper rims translates to higher speed for the same power--I doubt, but for $400 I can afford to try it and just have a set of backup wheels. I probably won't buy "name brand" wheelsets again. I have a couple of pairs of ~$1500 wheel sets sitting in my basement needing repairs (after very long life and much use and abuse). If there's a difference between these superteam wheels and the more expensive wheels, I can't tell what it is. I'm riding at the same speeds on the same routes. Will the superteam wheels last 15 years? I don't know, but I don't see why they wouldn't.

I bought this wheels as a replacement for my Mavis Cosmic Pro Exalith that had a damage that couldn't be fixed. I didn't want to spend $1K on a pair of wheels and read a lot of reviews and watched videos about Superteam and the general opinion is that the wheels were good for the price and most of the people had good experiences with the wheels. I received the wheels 3 weeks ago, the packaging was great, the box was in perfect condition. It included the 2 wheels, 4 spare spokes, the brake pads and valve extensors. I took them for installation to a shop where they recommended me this brand (mostly for rides without hills) and they checked them, and told me they were well balanced and didn't had to fix anything. I didn't use the brake pads that came with the wheels because some people said they painted the wheels, so I bought a pair of Swissport for Carbon wheels. I have rode almost 600km in these 3 weeks and this is my first review. 550km review I don't feel an improvement in the speed or aero part because I previously had a 45mm deep carbon wheels. But I don't feel a decrease in my speed or anything taking in consideration that a pair of Mavic cost $1,500. I like how the wheels sound, because people can hear me come and I also like how the look without stickers as you can see in the photos attached. I do felt a decrease in my braking but I was expecting this. In the dry the braking the difference is not that big, but in wet roads the difference is big. What I do is start to brake earlier than before. During my first ride it started raining and I tried braking slowly going downhill and I felt no brake, I had to push the brakes harder to start braking. So far my experience has been really good. I will try to do regular updates on this review once I got more km on the wheels. Please see the last picture that I see some scratches on the brake track of the back wheel. I don't live in a hilly city, most of my rides are flat so no hard braking in the wheels. I hope this doesn't get worse too fast because I expect better durability.

First time changing wheelset, so i don't have a precedent to compare with.. But have to say, once i changed out the old stock wheels, i made tremendous improvement on my cycling speed. Easily increased my average speed by 2km/hr on the usual 10km flat segment i do. Installation was also simple enough for me (someone who's not very handy).

This product looks good and workmanship also looks good. Waiting for spring to give them a try.

I got these several months ago and have been very happy so far after about 1000k of use. They are very responsive on hills especially, have increased my accelleration and overall I have picked up a few K of avg. speed. This is my first carbon set and I have really noticed the difference in a big way. I really happy with the purchase. The company is very responsive, and packaging (including several spare spokes) and shipping was very good.
