The best outdoor faucet. A quality product from Iowa! Would buy again but probably won’t need to due to the high quality. This replaced one that was 50 years old.

I gave "Easy to Install" five stars, but that was AFTER the hole was dug & the old one was removed. That doesn't account for the sump pump keeping 6" of water away. The old hydrant's drain hole clogged so the vertical pipe retained significant water over the winter, froze, and cracked open at the threads. After installing, I installed an inverted 5-gallon bucket with cut the bottom out and notched a 2" x 4" "mouse hole" to allow for the supply line. That was filled with gravel to ensure drainage.Sturdy-built in Iowa. I do NOT want to dig another 4' hole in NY slate ever again.

Product work for quite a while but now something stuck and it is bleeding water off so I have to keep the water supply shut off. Otherwise I have to pay a huge water bill.

Used these hydrant before they last a long time with no problems

I originally tried to return this item as the shipment was to arrive later than I could endure with a water leak. I was notified it was too late to return via a cancellation. But, then shipment all the sudden went to a much quicker turnaround so I used it

I don't have a lot of experience with these hydrants. I know how they work and what they are designed for, along with pulling the handle on a few over the years. So when one of the hydrants began leaking on our place that was installed years ago I went to my go to: You tube/Amazon and began to read and view. Well after pricing hydrants locally it was time to use Amazon again. Two of the main reasons I went with Woodford was the ability to buy a rebuild kit if needed and the recommendations from installers on You tube. Well the hydrant was well packaged and arrived promptly along with the variable flow that actually worked compared to previous hydrants I have used. These are a well built quality hydrant. Will buy again if needed I have other older hydrants on our place that I'm sure will need to be replaced.

Easy to install. Great quality. They are long term USA companies. If I should need any replacement parts the company will be there for supplies.

When i build my house i installed 5 frost free fosits frome home depot. They don't supply that model anymore and they can't be rebuilt. As they go bad I've been replacing them with Woodford their a lot beefier and the O rings a standard size so I'll be able to rebuild them is or when they wear out.
