Clairol Nice N' Easy Hair Color #78 Medium Golden Brown (Pack of 6) Uk Loving Care

I didn't understand the level of "temporary" when I ordered it. It's the "no" peroxide - "8-shampoos" (not really) --- not the "low" peroxide - 28 shampoos (not likely either) formula. It took 2 applications - extended sitting time for each - to approach the medium golden brown color (#78) I was after to cover my apparently resistant gray (white) hair. But, since my goal is to transition to natural gray without white roots showing as the permanently dyed color grows out, this actually works for me -- and is probably less damaging to my hair along the way. There are no chemicals to mix -- you just need to shake up the single coloring solution.

I have used this particular product for years. It's nice to be able to do it myself and know that I am not harming my hair with harsh stuff. For those worried about its short duration, use a color-protecting shampoo. The look is so natural--much nicer than salon color. "Roots" are a problem no matter how much you spend getting your hair colored!!

I have used this formula of Clairol Nice and Easy for probably 20 years. No peroxide means no harsh chemical or strange colors as it fades out. It does not last long but is great because you never have dark or white roots. As it washes out it makes my hair look like it has golden highlights. Now that I have significantly more gray hair it is more difficult to cover gray, but it still makes the gray hair look like golden highlights not gray. This would probably not last long enough for people with oily hair that have to wash their hair daily.
