My husband likes a firmer mattress than me so we usually compromise and get Medium/Firm but sometimes they are still too firm and my hips hurt when I sleep on my side and lower back hurts when I sleep on my back. I have had several of these types of things over the years and they are usually “fine.” We are in a VRBO currently with a very firm mattress so I ordered one for our time here, and let me tell you, it’s is best I have ever used. It truly feels like your body is suspended on a cloud. I have slept better than I have slept in years because it is so darned comfortable. If I wake up for some reason (ie, dog makes noise), my first thought is how comfortable I am. ha. If you have issues like mine, I would tell you this topper is the ticket. It does not make me hot at all, and I do struggle with that at night sometimes. It also stays in place with just two straps on my side of the bed. Of course the only downside is that my side of the bed looks higher when the bed is made, which is weird, but we are the only ones seeing it.

Comfortable, true to size, great quality and as thick as advertised and holds it's shape. Alleviated back pain :-D *Images are after 6 weeks of sleeping on it! Only negative is that it sleeps pretty warm, which we've never had issues with in the past. *That is why we give it 4 of 5 stars. We have a memory foam mattress and had pretty consistent pain in our lower SI and QL pain (we are side and stomach sleepers) This definitely helps alleviate the issue we were having although it hasn't completely resolve it, for that we have to buy a different mattress because we currently have a 'firm' and we need a medium. *Edited, We've been using the topper for about 6-7 now and it's still working, comfortable and held its shape. Definitely recommend unless you are a person who sleeps hot, if you are this would may generate more heat.

I took way too long to make the decision to buy this mattress topper. I over researched, read all the reviews, then FINALLY decided to try it. It was a great buy!!! After opening the package I let the topper air out over night. Next, I took out on my patio and let it sit in the sun for hours to fluff up. (Even though it puffed up nicely after the first night, I wanted to be extra sure it was comfy). Also, it had no chemical scent at all. The first night I slept on the topper, my firm mattress felt better. I still wasn’t sure how it would hold up, and if it would make a big enough difference, so I waited to write this review. The topper has held its shape well, and any compression that happened seemed to make my mattress feel even more comfortable. This topper did make a difference in the way my body feels on my firm mattress. It relieves pressure points and makes the mattress feel softer. I do not use the straps to hold it steady. Instead I have a separate fitted sheet on top of the mattress topper and I have not had a problem with it moving. Oh, and when I first unpacked it, before I could even get it to my patio, my cat immediately jumped on it and took a long nap. Later, when it was on the bed, she positioned herself in the middle of the bed and napped again. She loves it, and chooses to sleep on it instead of on her very cushy bed!!!! I would highly recommend trying this brand. With the guarantee there’s nothing to loose, and if you like it, there’s comfort to gain.

As someone who has fibromyalgia, this mattress topper has been a miracle for sleep! I have felt like my memory foam mattress was a giant brick for months on end and had started sleeping on the couch because it was softer, so to try to sleep in bed with my husband (who did suggest I look for a topper) I went on a quest for a soft mattress topper. This particular mattress topper is very soft and plush and has stayed that way for over a month now. Helpful tip: every week grab the material inside each square and fluff, by doing that I haven't noticed any significant loss in fluffiness. The topper does squish significantly underneath your main body, but will push fluff to the sides so it feels like your head, arms, and legs are laying on a 3 inch high fluffy cloud. I had been struggling with sleeping through the night because I was constantly waking up to shift due to soreness. Starting with the first night of sleeping on this topper, I have slept through the night consistently without waking up. When waking up in the morning I don't feel extremely sore anymore just fibro related stiffness. I would recommend using a deep pocket fitted sheet as it is very fluffy. I have a twin size topper on my side of a queen size bed and it hangs off the side about 3 inches, but my husband is happy as there's no softness on his side as he requested. Warning: once your cat discovers this topper, they won't want to get off it as I found out LOL. My cat slept on it for 18 hours straight so I tried to sleep on the couch and was so uncomfortable after I had been sleeping on this topper that I had to make the cat share the bed with me so I could sleep. I highly recommend this topper! I did not receive anything for this review. I will definitely buy another whenever this one wears out. I just wanted to provide helpful information for others who also suffer from fibromyalgia as it can be hard to find products that help with that specifically.

I'm sure a lot of folks would find this topper very nice. For me, it made an uncomfortable bed unbearable. Now I have to figure out who to give it away to, since it's far too big to store anywhere.
