I bought this once before and it was great tea. This time its... different. Lighter flavor, not the same scent. Still good tea. I actually like this bag, its less acidic than the old stuff. Its one of those things... you like it or ya dont. 4 stars for not being the same but....5 for being good mild tea. Edit: Ok after trying a few cups of this new and a few cups of the old, I have this to tell whoever is interested.... The odd flavor people are crying about is the teabag material. If you cut the bag open and pour it into a tea ball or an infuser basket, that odd flavor is gone. However it is kinda weak. The fix for that is use the contents of 2 teabags. 3 minutes in a cup of nearly boiling water and its almost as good as the old stuff. Close enough. You guys might as well just sell it loose and forgo the bags altogether. Personally I'd rather have the old stuff in the old bags. People worrying about a plastic mesh tea bag when literally everything you have in your house is plastic makes me chuckle.

All of the VAHDAM products that have tried have good quality control. These Darjeeling tea bags are fine. The flavor is just a little too licorice like for me. I like a mild tasting darjeeling more.

This variety of darjeeling tea is really, really delicious! It's very flavorful, not bitter. It's bright and a little fry and just really special. Much better than any dajeeling you could get in the store. Its also a great value! This rivals many of the more expensive darjeelings I have tasted at many of the the Seattle tea festivals. You'll really enjoy it!

This tea is wonderful! The teabags are biodegradable and triangular. The tea leaves are actual tea leaves, not dust or fannings. It brews wonderfully, taste delightful and smells heavenly. This is now my go-to tea for brewing. Darjeeling is my favorite kind of tea and this one wins for me.

First let me say I am a total tea snob. This did not work for me and it was much more bitter than it should be for this type of tea… and I drink aged black teas from all over the world. Frankly I tossed the package.

Great depth of flavour! No comparison with other mainstream Darjeeling teas like Twinings which seem quite bland by comparison to me. I do need to use two teabags for a full size mug of tea but still worth it!

I love this tea! I was drinking too much coffee and was constantly dealing with an upset stomach. This Darjeeling tea is smooth and has a great aroma. It gives me that extra pep without the GI side effects of coffee. Also, for the environmental enthusiasts, the entire tea bag is biodegradable.

Sono molto esigente per quanto riguarda il tè, non deve essere solo buono, ma deve avere un ottimo aroma, un profumo armonioso e deve essere di qualità. Posso dire che VAHDAM rispecchia tutto questo, li ho provati tutti e sono tutti fantastici...sono molto soddisfatta.

I have on occasion bought and enjoyed other brands of darjeeling tea but it is very hard to find here and not available in the grocery stores. The very first time I brewed a cup of Vahdam darjeeling tea my thoughts were " this is what tea is supposed to taste like." It is just wonderful, the very best tea!

It's clear why they call Darjeeling the champagne of tea. It's so fragrant and flavourful and has ZERO bitterness. If you like your tea to be a little bit bitter, Darjeeling is not the tea for you. The tea bag shape is so awesome for maximum flavor distribution and I love the fact that it's on a string and I can just pull it out of my cup. Vahdam gets big bonus points for: 1. Using actual tea leaves and not powder like the Tetley round bag (in my picture) 2. A great shape of teabag to allow leaves to blossom - with a string for easy extraction 3. Being carbon neutral 4. Being plastic neutral and using good packaging to retain freshness while reducing waste. 5. Supporting education for their farmers' children. A really delicious tea from a brand you can feel good about supporting.
