Amazing Filament That Hides Layer Lines!!!
This is BY FAR my favorite filament I've purchased thus far (Galaxy Black). I've already gone through two spools of this stuff and I've only been 3D printing for a few months. This stuff just prints with absolutely no issues at all. Love it! I am using this on my Prusa i3 MK3S, with the default Prusament PLA filament profile (215C nozzle, 60C bed). Most of my stuff was printed at 0.2mm layer height with the default PrusaSlicer settings. Pros: *This stuff HIDES LAYER LINES! Did I mention it hides layer lines? I mean, even at 0.20mm layer height, the tiny glitter particles masks the layer lines incredibly well. *I've had very good success with this filament. Never had issues with jamming, or problems with the PLA containing too much moisture right out of the bag. I've had issues with other brands! *Prusa goes to every extent to make their products extremely precise. You can measure the filament diameter for yourself and you will see that not a lot of other filaments are as precise as this stuff. They even have a report of the diameter of your exact filament as it was being wound onto the spool. Simply scan the QR code on the side of the spool and it will give you the report! What other filament brand does that? *I have never seen a more beautifully wound spool of filament than the Prusament brand. When you open the vacuum sealed bag (which is reusable by the way!), you will notice how perfect the filament is wound up. If you've ever had a print get ruined because the filament spool getting tangled, then you know how frustrating this can be. Not something you have to worry about with the Prusament brand. For people with OCD like me, you will love the winding of this filament! It's perfect! Cons: *This stuff is expensive! At $30 bucks a spool, this is more expensive than most other PLA you can purchase on Amazon. *At times (when sold out) this stuff can be very difficult to get your hands on. I usually order 2 spools at a time since when they are sold out, it can take up to a month or more before Amazon receives another shipment of Prusament brand filaments directly from Prusa himself. They have a pretty small filament production line, so when it's out, it takes a little while for them to ship more pallets to Amazon from the Czech Republic. Overall: I love this stuff. It's a huge upgrade from the silver stuff that came with my printer and I think what makes it stand above all of the other filaments I've used is how well it can hide layer lines. I love this stuff and would highly recommend it. Only bad thing about it is how quickly I run out of this stuff!

Excellent choice for Marble-look statues/busts
Excellent filament. I mainly print PLA, but there are so many more options with PLA -- including this "marble" variant. Looks very good, especially for printing statues / busts. Hard to beat Prusament, despite the cost.

A bit pricy, but worth it
A little pricy compared to others, but absolutely the best quality of anything I've ever used. For 'basic' colors, I may use cheaper stuff, but for advanced color schemes like marble, Prusament every time.

Great filament... for not much more.
I am new to 3D printing, and this is the third spool I have used so far, if I can count the generic 250gr spool that came with my Creality Cr-20 Pro. And honestly, that generic white filament was not bad. Then I bought Proto Pasta, which is good, but comes at a quite steep price considering it cost the same as the Prusament Azure blue but weighed half as much. The Prusament is fantastic. Prints extremely well, it is exquisitely spooled, and, believing Prusa, it has much better tolerances than filaments that cost the same or more. For half the price of Proto Pasta (weight considered), if anything, it is better. The perfect spooling is not decisive on the quality or print you are going to get, but along with the very nice packaging, included zip bag, and information on your very own spool, it screams attention to detail that might very well translate into a very high quality product. And so far, that's what it appears to be. I would say that if you can find it even at $40, go for it! For $29, the price at which I got it, it's a steal!

Very easy and consistent to print with; looks beautiful straight off the print bed
While this filament is on the more expensive side it is absolutely worth it! This filament prints perfectly for me out of an Ender 5 with minimal adjustment (I just set the print temp). The filament prints very accurately and has not warped in any of my prints, spool is wound well and I have not experienced any jamming. The finish of this filament is really what makes it worth it. The printed filament has an overall opaque dark grey color, with an elegant glimmer. The glitter effect in the filament is executed very well and is subtle enough to not look like a children's arts and crafts project, but present enough to provide an eye-pleasing shimmer when turning pieces over in the hand. I will definitely be buying more of this filament when it is back in stock

Surprisingly Good Filament
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised though. I have a Prusa MK3S and am very pleased with the reliability and quality that it routinely prints. I decided to try Prusament Galaxy Black to see how well the filament works, even though it is expensive compared to other PLA filaments. First, I didn't expect the embedded silver flecks, but honestly it is a very attractive effect, Second, I expected the filament to print well and I wasn't disappointed. I cranked the fineness/thinness to the minimum allowed by the printer (0.05mm) and printed a set of very fine-toothed gears. The filament performed spectacularly. One minor concession I needed when I wanted very fine prints is that I needed to print a little slower, but that can be expected for cooling and less smearing on very fine prints. In summary, the filament is as good as it claims, at least in my opinion. It is a little pricey and depending upon what you intend to use it for, the higher quality may be wasted. I would buy it again though.

Print it hot and be happy
When I first started using this filament I was just as excited as everyone else to finally have a roll of Prusament. For the first few attempts that excitement started to drain quickly. Poor bed adhesion, nozzle clogs ( before this it has been months since I have had a clog ) and poor extrusion. I spent the time to clean out my nozzle, heat break, bowden tube, drive gears on my Titan and everything else I could think of and still had the issue. I was initially printing at 215 which is what I print all my PLAs at. Since 215 is already on the higher side for all PLAs I have printed in the past I did not want to print much hotter. I gradually upped the temperature until I reached 225 and it started printing much much better. Printing at 215 was putting so much strain on my extruder motor that it actually ruined my E3D pancake motor and I had to replace it with a full size nema17. So, moral of the story, print a temperature tower and expect to print it hot! The prints are beautiful now and the layer lines are hidden by the speks of silver that are in the filament. And yes, there are specs, this is not plain black filament. My printer: Custom Hypercube Evolution with linear rails, genuine E3D Titan extruder running as a bowden. I would have give it a higher rating but the bed adhesion is still not as good as other PLAs ( I tried on a glass bed with glue stick and a creality removable flexible bed topper ) and the price doesn't seem worth it unless you are printing show pieces and need the insanely tight tolerances of Prusament. That said, I printed a custom Atlas statue for a coworker and it is an amazing print and ordered another roll. I will definitely be using this for more artsy pieces but it is not worth it for prototyping or quick prints that don't need to be eye catching. **Update**: Be careful when using this filament with Cura's Ironing option. The extremely slow extrusion seems to like to clog up my nozzle forcing me to pause the print, manually force filament through to release the clog then resume the print. A couple of times I was away from the printer and didn't hear the tell-tale clicking of the extruder motor when it was skipping and it ruined some 3+ hour prints :/

Good stuff
I am still undecided if this is worth the 2x price compared to some other PLA filaments. I think itโs worth the price for final versions of printed parts but for prototyping I will keep using the ~$15/kg alternatives. It is however noticeably easier to separate Prusament prints from the bed once finished which could help to not damage delicate prints. 215ยฐ nozzle temperature as specified on the spool caused stuck filament errors at the beginning of printing on Prusa MK4S but using the default temperature for PLA (230ยฐ) works great.

The prints look less opaque than in the pics.
It is somewhat translucent white not really opqaue. But print quality is fine.

The best but pricey
Best filament out there for me just a bit too pricey.

Good on Prusa Mini.
Just purchased a Prusa Mini so seemed important to stick to their filaments to start with. This filament certainly sticks well to the heated base and breaks off easily when the printed model has cooled down. I think the fine tolerance of manufacture of this filament is useful to avoid clogging of the extrusion nozzle on my printer.
