15.6 16 inch Laptop Keyboard Cover Protector Universal for 15.6" 16" Laptop Notebook Keyboard, Ultra Thin Waterproof Dustproof Silicone Keyboard Skin

The skin fits my Dell Inspiron 17-5767 keypad and stays in place while typing. It does not dim the backlights as much as a molded keyboard cover that I have. I bought this to use on the part of the laptop below the keyboard where the touchpad is and protect where my arms rest and hang over to protect the edge, but it is too thick to use with the tochpad and sticks to arms (this is not the products fault, it is not what it is made for). I wrap it around my kindle for more protection when storing in its case.

There were some negative reviews about this that almost turned me away. After receiving the product, not having any issues, and having the cover perform perfectly, I have decided that it must have been user error or cases of factory defect. It’s a great cover and it protects my keyboard from crumbs and liquids adequately.

I bought a Gigabyte laptop recently that I most definitely want to protect. It's not a very popular brand, so I couldn't find a molded keyboard cover for it like my last Macbook. I was skeptical of this cover, but the other reviews convinced me to give it a try. Glad I did. I play video games on my computer, so being able to easily identify the keys is important. With the cover on, I can easily see and (more importantly) feel all the keys. It doesn't slip and seems to have made a decent seal around the keyboard. It actually doesn't look half bad. Update 1 year later: It's still in one piece. No holes or worn spots, but sadly it no longer sticks so it slides around a little now. I still think it's a good buy, especially for the price. It keeps out dust and dog fur and crumbs or whatever. Cleans off easily with a rinse in water, but I guess you'll sacrifice the stickiness/grab of the bottom (even though on other silicone mats I have water has never affected the hold). I may just buy a new one a couple times a year as I don't foresee any manufacturer making a molded cover for my laptop model. 3rd picture is the update.

These are great, what a clever idea. Practically invisible don't even really notice it when typing. But keeping keyboards clean is really difficult so this is a great thing. It's also great for putting over a nasty keyboard that you don't want to touch directly but still need to use.

I bought this as a last resort for my 17.3" ASUS VivoBook Pro N705UD-EH76 because I can't find any model-specific covers out there. This Casebuy universal skin is one of the few wide enough to fit my keyboard. Mine arrived with a short side folded in the packaging. The instructions say placing the cover flat under a heavy book should fix it but I can't see the fold ever coming out. It's just sticky and transparent enough to stay in place and so you can still see the key markings. As for typing, as thin as the silicone is, I just can't get used to my new keyboard condom. I'm a touch typist and this cover causes me to lose sensation of where my home keys are which means A LOT of typos. Fortunately I use an external plug in keyboard so this isn't the end of the world for me. Overall, if you can't find a cover for your specific laptop model then this will do. Performance-wise, it's just OK and will suffice in protecting my keyboard from dust and grime which is the main reason I wanted one.

If you are looking for a skin to protect your keyboard, I would pass on this one. First, it arrived in an envelope where it was folded in its packaging. This fold left permanent marks in the silicone preventing it from sitting flush and making it impossible to see through it. It has whit marks and creases all over it. I didn't realize semi-transparent meant you had to view between the imperfections. As for the size, this does NOT fit my 17 inch keyboard. It is too short in width and in length. It doesn't cover the full number pad. In reading the directions to apply this silicon 'protective' covering, it says to paste the cover on...SERIOUSLY? I guess they know it won't stick. I have tried washing this CaseBuy skin and laying it flat to see if the creases would come out but they haven't. I guess it doesn't matter as the white markings stop me from seeing through it. All in all, if you are looking for a keyboard protector...skip this one. I would return it but it isn't worth the aggravation as I would need to send it back myself.

I been using it for a month now, so far it's been great. You can hardly notice it and it cover all my keyboard. It doesn't interfere with my typing. I highly recommend.

Bought in October 2020. Didn't last even 6 months. Got torn off easily with few months. It's strictly for a 15.6 inch Laptop with full size keyboard.
