Update 2-16-23: these subs are ridiculous. Using a cheap box, the subs started to blow out the plexiglass screw holes to stripped. Had to buy bigger screws that stick out, but have not stripped out of the holes.. yet. I play these on a hifonics brutus amp 1900w tuned down to match the rated power of the subs at 1ohm. Man do these skar subs make alot of bass in a bandpass enclosure. Still using a cheap pyramid bandpass box, these subs make my head vibrate when leaning into my seat. Definitely worth the buy 100%. I play them loud as hell, and so far they have no issues. Definitely recommend getting skar subs if you are a basshead. Been using them for about a month now with heavy bass songs that don't give them any breaks, and the subs perform godly. I've gotten them warm but so far no overheating issues. Match them with a rated sub for their power and you'll be hard pressed not to have a smile with the sound they produce. Update 11-22-22: These things are beasts. I still haven't had time to fully do my system, but now wires, amp, and subs are all in. Slight bit of anp adjustments but not fully tuned. These subs rattle my brain more than enough. Not sure what others plan do to with these subs, but your average car install should leave you more then happy using them. Coming sub cheap subs, I'm not sure about the 'break in' for subs, but even with mine still relatively 'new' (not used sense purchase), these skar subs are loud AF. Definitely happy with this purchase. Need to fix my Came pretty damn fast considering. If you were like me having to get by with cheapo subs, these are certainly a big upgrade. I kinda messed up ordering these while getting ready to move, so idk if I'll get to hook them up until after moving. So far looking at build quality, these subs should be more then enough for me provided that the looks aren't deceiving. This is my review is for now, will definitely change when I can use the subs.

This is a subwoofer for the person who is just getting into car audio. It's cheap,loud and ok at best. It hits the low note pretty well as long as u don't crank it up. That's wen the bass starts to muffle and distort. I have 2 of these in a sealed box being pushed by a rockford fosgate prime 1200.1. Way to much power for these subs. Definitely not 600 watts rms. Don't get me wrong they do sound ok as long as u don't send them to much power. I been hearing all the talk and seeing the reviews so I gave them a try. I'm sending mine back and just spend a Lil more money for a rockford P3 or a JL W3 which I kno wat I'm getting. The skar do hit hard on some notes bust once cranked up the bass is terrible. Thought about stepping up to a skar ddx but I'm done with the trial and error. Spend the money and go for wat u kno. If ur a beginner then this is the sub for u

They are better than I expected.

They sounds awesome and hit hard. I’ve had them for almost two years in a scar prefab box and no problems whatsoever. Would recommend!

Theses sub are loud and are great quality. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for subs. Service is great and the company is awesome. Buy theses you won’t be disappointed 😀
